  • Sorry Guys I Don't Know Hindi but I know Tamil So that I can translate whats going on in the video(From 0:09)

    Boy: Stop..!

    Boy: Stop The Bus..!

    Boy: Stop the damn vehicle..!

    Boy: My Home....!

Man: Who the hell is this...?

    Boy: My Table...! (once again)

    Boy: Savithri (My Love)

Old Woman (Savithri): God, My God (She Recognized her husband's soul in the boy)

Thumbs up so that everyone could understand...:-)

  • LMAO

  • This ad makes me wish I knew Tamil and Punjabi, I only know English and a little Hindi ._.

  • @HeavyMetalHindu you know, you do not need to know many languages, the human language speaks for itself.

  • Im sorry but that needed subtitles :P I did try to understand whats going on based on just the actions... But I'm left confused. So, clearly the boy had a vision to get off the bus, and go to that house. The residents were confused why he's there... then he saw the table with a man's name carved into it. Then there was a grandmother very impressed with him, and they recognized each other.

Can anyone clarify the joke behind this? Hahah because I feel stupid. Someone reply.

  • @alextoob1 basically she was his wife(grandmother)..!! :P

  • @rajpari262 So he was reincarnated? And thats how he met her again as a boy? x)

  • Comment removed

  • @alextoob1 yup he was reincarnated..also he was talking in some other language (tamil)...this ad is suppose to be funny because its about the table in which he wrote her name when he fell in love with her and the table was still there with her name on :P

  • @rajpari262 Got it! Thanks for the explanation. :)

  • @alextoob1 your welcome :D

  • awsome! the sardar is super cool!!!!!!!!!!

  • i didnt even smile

  • Super machi...

  • if i only knew what they were saying

  • @wolftothegrave Sikh boy from north traveling with parents. Bus crossing Tamil Nadu? And suddenly-- Boy (in Tamil): Stop the bus. Mom: What language is this? Boy barges into a house he "recognizes". House owner: Who is this kid? Walking into the house just like that. Boy: My house, my table, Savitri, my love (name of wife from previous life). Elderly woman (who is now a widow, of course): Lord, my own lord. I have seen you again, my husband. Boy's mom faints and others are aghast. Reincarnation!

  • @reva12 thank you!

  • hahaha didn't understand but I get it

  • Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • This is funny as well as very Spiritual!!!

  • I got it , the boy sees the house and remembers his past life and his love , that now is an old lady ,but I think what they're saying makes the ad a much interesting . I don;t understand their language . Can somebody translate it to me , please ? I would appreciate , thanks in advance !

    I love Indian commercials :) .

  • @Wolswagenzbitinzid Yes, the Hindu reincarnation belief is used in a very cute way. The old woman was the boy's wife, and love as you say.

I have translated the crux of the dialog for wolftothegrave above.

  • @reva12

Thanks a lot !!! Lovely ad . Really Indian ppl are the best at commercials ! (btw I'm not an Indian )

  • @Wolswagenzbitinzid Indians are not "the best" in advertising the most awarded ads by countries for the last 10 years are US, UK, Argentina, Germany and Brazil. In that ranking India is way behind after countries like Canada, Australia, South Africa, Netherlands, Sweden, New Zealand, Japan, France, Spain, Singapore, Thailand, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, Mexico, Czech Rep., Chile and Malaysia.

  • @armba12113

I didn't knew this .This is my personal opinion , not a general one. There are many others commercials that I love ,some have very gr8 and original ideas, but from all of them I find the Indian ones the most amazing . They have something special unlike others .Maybe the the sense of humor , the irony , v intelligent made . But Imagination is grater than intelligence smt and they have a gr8 imagination( u can see this from their movies also) and that's what I like the most abt them.

  • @armba12113

Actually you're totally right . People like me , says this bec they search on internet advertizing for the product that they already know or they ar led to this kind of ads bec they serch funny ads . But there are many products that are used just inside of sm countries and is unlikely for those like me to here abt . But I found these days interesting french ads , and ya you had right , ppl tend to think like me bec of lack of information .

  • @armba12113

for ex Bruno Aveillan is a great commercial director , that I came about thses days and I felt in love with his ads '- coool !

Even so , is stil a difference between his ads and indian once ... Bruno has a gr8 imagination , really , his ads are for intellectual tyype of ppl ! Indian ads are funny for the average ppl who search it from interenet at "funny vid " . I'm not mean ...just realistic .

  • @armba12113 you must keep in mind the targeted audience are indians, so acc. to indian standards this as is quite creative. But an outsider wouldn't get it. ;)

  • Love it so much. I read the comment and I understand it also show different people of India north and south?

  • for people who deosnt understand,, hindu's believes in reincarnation.. so that boy just had experienced dejavu..

  • i dont get it.. hahaha slow..

  • hahaha funny advertisement

  • Saavitri!...Swami!.......lmao!! :p

  • I love it when they tie the northern parts of India with the southern parts or even east with west for that matter in ads or films. It just shows how diverse we really are. Feels good.

  • awesome.

  • yip, i totally knew what they were saying...lol!

  • can somoene explain this to me? i didnt understand

props to india for their elite exaggeration skills.

  • AWESOME...

  • :[)

  • lol very funny...

  • This is an extremes of blind belife of punarhjanma in an ad

  • I guess all people who like and comment are Indians because I didn't get what the ad is about!!

  • @AbuKinanYE in the previous life of the boy, he lived there in that house and the old lady was his lover. He knew so well that he had a strong connection with the wooden desk or w/e that was. I think thats it.
