Actually, the easiest thing to do with the village area before the cabin is to throw a flashbang in the window. It blinds Don Jose, and you can climb over and climb the ladder without Ashley getting grabbed a good 95% of the time. Using this method on Pro, she hasn't gotten caught yet.

i don't know why but the knife in ps2/wii versions are stronger than most of the guns (like 3-4 hits to kill one)!!! in gamecube version, it takes like 30 hits to kill one

the ditman glitch also requires the striker, and this is a no merchant run, so he can't buy a striker.

Holy crap, there are a LOT fewer ganados on the pc version than on the GC and Wii version! And Don Manuel is my least favorite ganado; he seems more aggressive than the others ones, at least to me.

really? XD I haven't noticed that thing on Don Manuel lol. And yes, pc version is a port (a very poor port I have to say...) of ps2 version, and ps2 version has fewer enemies than gc/wii version because of technical limitations =(
