Economically, it is much weaker. Otherwise, infrastructure is better in Turkey. Tourism in Turkey is much better than Bulgaria. Nobody speaks English in Bulgaria (almost non-existent population speak english).

HDI doesn't matter and isn't the main thing.. Turkey is one of the commercial hubs in the worlds and has cities which are the economic center of the world. Istanbul is like Karachi or Hong Kong.

We tha balkan people have many things in common not only in rituals but in folklor. We should cherish that and that should be sign that we all might just be the same people. Economically, it is much weaker. Otherwise, infrastructure is better in Turkey. Tourism in Turkey is much better than Bulgaria. Nobody speaks English in Bulgaria (almost non-existent population speak english).

HDI doesn't matter and isn't the main thing.. Turkey is one of the commercial hubs in the worlds and has cities which are the economic center of the world. Istanbul is like Karachi or Hong Kong.

It's also clear that EU's member states preferred Bulgaria to join rather than Turkey. Turkey may have better infrastrcture and tourism, but Bulgaria has better education (correct me if I'm wrong). bulgaria is in the eu for one simple reason - money, western europes money. Thats why everyone in eastern europe is so pro eu because its a win win deal for them. Communism didnt work, why is that suddenly the fault of western european nations because we are now picking up the tab for your s**t politcal ideas.

Many , many bulgarians still live in Romania . The undefeatable bulgarian spirit still lives today and as I said many many bulgarians found shelter in Wallchia during the turkish yoke.

Many bulgarians? Lol, the principal minorities in Ro are the hungarians(less than15%) and the gipsies(2.1%). Many bulgarains mean 10.000??? Did you forget the 250.000 Romanians that leave in TImok and Silistra? BTW, Silistra is 100% Romanian. And for a looong time, Bulgaria didn't have acces to the Danube, just because the many romanians who live at the S of the Danube

As I said in the beginning Bulgarian Empire controled the land from the Danube through the Carpats for centuries. Silistra has never been romanian and never will be.

Everyone has things to be proud of and things to be ashamed of . The main thing is not to be proud of yourself by talking disparagingly about other countries and people but exactly the opposite. Showing respect , showing benevolence to others is far greater a virtue that will bring you the recognition you desire 10 -20 times more than simply insulting others to make you feel bettre about yourself.

We tha balkan people have many things in common not only in rituals but in folklor. We should cherish that and that should be sign that we all might just be the same people. There plenty of others who bash both our countries and we don;t need to be fighting against each other but unite our efforts into defending each other from the many detractors who view us as something less than themselves.

Open any history book about Bulgaria and you will see where we start from 681 when Kanaz Asparuh defeates the Byzantium Emperor Konstantin Pogonat the fourth .
Byzantium then signs a contract and is obligated to pay Bulgaria tax.

Bulgaria is a wonderful country . In the past many bulgarian revolurionaries found shelter in the relatively independent Wallachia when bulgarians were under turkish yoke mainly because back then people still remembered their roots and where we all came from.
