  • LOL @ People thinking that this is footage from the actual event.

  • @DimeraFan28 Sure, blame the victims for the stupid ass guy with a gun. Sure, it'd be smarter to wear bright colored clothing, but it'd be ever smater to actually see and know what you're shooting before you actually, you know, shoot. You could cry foul on both sides here, but the true idiocy lies in the guy who shot them.

  • That didn't look like an accident to me. It looked like that guy shot them on purpose.

  • @Raptormon132 Well, this was a reanactment, so the it could have been more obscure than what was shown.

  • @wes6ify thanks 

  • What's that saying? A bear eating your face is worth more than shooting two people in the bush?.............

  • I think that Couple should've worn some bright-colored clothes, or they should've yelled at that guy, then that wouldn't have happened.

  • realy the women is wearing a blue jacket how could he not see that he muss be blind

  • :(________________________)

  • Where did the dog go?

  • @FangKillian the shot scared the dog and went home he didnt know they were shot

  • How did he not see that was a guy

  • "Hunters" that dumb should not even be allowed to have a cap gun....

  • That guy's vision must be crap.

  • @dylanmcferrenreturn2 I think he's color bind. Have you ever seen a blue bear other than care bear?

  • The shooter should be tried for attempted murder. Call Maurice Hoory 650 969 3405 for more Rescue 911 episodes.

  • .....Hunting Tips 101 DONT FUCKING FIRE ENTEL YOU FULLY IDENTIFY YOUR TARGET I hate hunters like him oh MOVEMENT BAM

  • his arm was SOOO swollen i got sick looking at it.

  • Why didnt yu jus ask the guy to givve yu a lift

  • i dont see how any one can mistake humans with a dog for a bear cause we all know the bear would not just walk with the dog it be eating it

  • What about the dog? You could send it for help or something...

  • Just thought I would mention something.... they never say all the exact details in the episodes that involve "assailant/victim scenarios." Mostly due to how when these episodes are shot, most of the time, they are still in a legal battle or pressing charges, hindering them from saying what "really happened" versus what "happened." That or they do it for protection of certain identities and integrity of the individuals.

  • I live about 2 1/2 - 3 hrs from where this happened!!!

  • I live about 2 1/2 - 3 hrs from where this happend!!!

  • My aunt's neighbor shot at my sister and I when he thought we were a "deer". He freaked out when he realized that he could have easily hit us. I don't know why people fire guns without seeing what they are shooting at clearly.

  • i guess their love for each other was sealed with a bullet

  • #1 rule of discharging a firearm/hunting KNOW what is in your line of sight!

  • it almost looked like the guy ment to shoot them

  • the guy who is like the world fucking dumest person in the who fucking world

  • I noticed a blooper.

At 1:43 when he hollars at the hunter that they were both hit he has his camelflauge coat on, pause at 1:45 with him standing in front of the cam and he has his flannel shirt on, and at 2:00 his camel flauge coat is back on.

  • wtf! he just left was a retard they could of died and he didnt care, hmm maybe he shot them on purpose

  • @skyblue2567 Well the man who got shot told the man who shot him to go get help

  • was the guy drunk?

  • That guy that shot them is one dumb ass mother fucker and should have been arrested. How the hell you mistake two people on an open road for a bear? bears are way bigger than people. Then that dumb ass just left them. Wtf.

  • who the hell mistakes people for fucking bears

  • I grew up in the city so if a man in a pickup shot me.... I'd think "serial killer" not "stupid hunter"

  • Comment removed

  • the was a dumbass move..thought it was a bear my ass..dont shoot unless you see it running at you and if its really a bear..

  • I TOTALLY agree! Always be aware of your surroundings before you shoot!

  • This is probably the reason why you should wear reflective clothes in the night.

  • Officer Greg L. here: They should be trained to hunt the way officers are trained at the police academy. You're absolutely not allowed to fire unless you're positive that your subject is not only a person but the suspect in question; i.e., the person who shot at you, the one you're pursuing.

  • Proof that people make mistakes just like everyone else can makes mistakes or errors.

Watch, I'll bet all the anti-gun nuts will crowd to this page and spew their usual bullshit about how guns and hunting should be banned.

I will say this once to those idiots: GUNS DON'T KILL PEOPLE, STUPID PEOPLE WITH GUNS KILL PEOPLE.

  • This is exactly why I don't like hunting (or if people are gonna do it, at least go WAY out in the middle of nowhere). I'm sure it was an honest mistake on the dude's part, but he was even more irresponsible to be hunting at (almost) night.

  • yes, it was the hunters fault. It was also their fault for not wearing reflective clothing when they know there are hunters around, but more the hunters fault. He not only hunted at night, which is illeagal, he didn't check on what he was shooting at. Irresponsible hunters like that give the rest of us bad names.

  • Damn that guy just got a collateral LUCKY!!!

  • one word : OOPS!!!

  • Why don't they buy their food at the store like everyone else?

Who eats bear anyway? That sounds revolting.

  • How can you mistake two persons with a dog for a bear?

  • The same way the idiot who shot me in the back claims to have done it. He mistook me for a "deer."

One, I guess, that walks on two legs. He's a dumbass.

  • @vickiormindyb wait, the guy who shot the couple shot u too? man that guy must be braindead.

  • @QuickScopersUnknown no no it was a differnt guy the persons saying that the guy mistook him for a animal

  • @bowlchamp411 oh, ok.

  • "simple", you are hunting bear, you see movement, so it MUST be a bear, so you shoot. Remember to NEVER shoot at MOVEMENT, only shoot at the bear, deer, etc, once you see it and can EASILY identify it as the animal you are hunting.

  • @HaggisMcMutton263 scarey!!!

  • @HaggisMcMutton263 Because trigger-happy morons get anxious and they shoot before they've actually attained their target, which ends up being a person and not an animal. If they were cool headed (and if the US would change the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution to bear arms), there might be less gun-wielding hicks in the bush.

  • @HaggisMcMutton263 i guess somehow when they were standing together the looked like a bear and the dog probably looked like a bear cub so even if he could not make out the people completely he thought he saw a bear cub and immediatly shot what was next to it which was in his mind a mama bear
