@zeekdavis11 EXTREMELY easy took me 2 days taking my time....i pulled the v8 out of an 82 GT mustang so i had both cars side by side pulled the throttle cable/clutch cable used an 86-93 tranny cross member so i could run true duals but everything pretty much bolted right in.....my biggest thing is to tell you CHANGE THE REAR!!! i kept the 4 banger rear and snapped it....get an 8.8'' out of a 87-93 gt

love that color, sounds good too, my cuz up north uses these little engines in his racecars, he races on a dirt track, hearing them in person, theyr alot louder, although he was running the header only, no exhaust. I've got the 2.5 in my ranger. only difference is the crankshaft and rotating assembly, its stroked out 7mm to make 2.5L i got 3.73s and a 5-speed M50D. i can chirp 2nd better than my nephews 4.6 'stang lol.. im sure it helps i have no weight in my back end tho..

not gonna lie this sounds badass for a 4 banger.. if more people had thiers sounding like this maybe id have more respect for 4 bangers, or imports. almost sounds like an 8 cyl with that cam/exhaust. nice ride. wana make it a true 5 liter eater swap an LS1. very easy, massive potential.

@23ericiscool im pretty sure you have the dual plug head on yours.....the cam is oval track i wouldnt use it for daily drivig....i got it out of the speed way oval track catalog...the header i got off a ford ranger in the junkyard 2 1/4 ''exhaust no cats going to a 40 flowmaster....intake is an old offenhauser piece for a 2 barrel carb and i had a 500cfm 2 barrel i say run a 250 itd woulda ran perfect...personaly i say just drop a v8 in your car it would be cheaper...i got one out of an 85 gt
