i went to jr. high school w/ the cat that's singing. glen david andrews. he's come a long way! im from new orleans, born and raised! and i also watch treme! and i will definitely say i'm proud that they are depicting nola just as it musically pops off in real life! so if u like that, then get yo' ass to nola cuz that's how it really is!! i miss nola every damn day! after 29 yrs, I moved to NYC 5 months ago for graduate and law school... but when i'm done, my ass is definitely goin' HOME!!

I never been to the Nola but I started watching the HBO show Treme which introduced me to the New Orleans culture. I now see its much more to New Orleans then just lil wayne & bounce music. Never been into jazz or live bands but as the song says I had to just "Roll with it" lol I love this song & have become a true fan of New Orleans brass bands or should I say New Orleans period.

Second lined to this song at my friend's wedding in NOLA last year. EVERYONE, young and elderly alike, was on the floor groovin' and waving hands or hankies as they sang along!! Fun, fun, fun!!! This song embodies so much! Great hearing it again on HBO's TREME series (the end of episode 15). So much so, I downloaded it from the iTunes store.
