It is unclear to me why we can no longer bridge the gap from Laos to China. For example, for my family, which part of china they migrated from, who is still left behind, and so forth. I respect the tradition religion. However, I wish that our people would update/change though. 3/4 days of burial rituals too much now a days $50,000 average? Most families do not have that kind of money. Also, immediately after a death in family, instead of allowing them to grief, we forced them to prepare food for community (zov hmo, think that's how u spell it). Doesn't make sense, the dead is no longer in the house like Laos. Needs to change other rituals, In my opinion.
