  • was eggar Carpet a back door man ?

  • Do you have anymore of these?????

  • Later in 1967 Antoinette Bower guest starred in the Halloween-themed 2nd-season episode of Star Trek, Catspaw.

  • 58:10- "Now stay tuned for a world television premiere: Sidney Poitier, Sammy Davis, Jr., Pearl Bailey and Dorothy Dandridge star in Samuel Goldwyn's production of George Gershwin's 'Porgy and Bess', on 'THE SUNDAY NIGHT MOVIE'- in color, next, on ABC."

  • This was to Ford on ABC's Sunday night schedule, what "BONANZA" was to Chevrolet on NBC's Sunday night schedule. Veteran commercial actor Bill Fiore is "The Vampire" in the commercial at 42:23 (with McLean Stevenson's voice!).

Hank Simms is the show's announcer.

  • Wonderful!

  • In the "vampire" Mustang ad, that's MacLean Stevenson's voice coming out of another actor's mouth.

  • Is that Carol Burnet in the pickup commercial at 52:47?

  • @eldersprig No, not her... she had her own show on TV at this time.. Efrem is a good driver... always loved the end music, the promo for next week looked good.. hope they post more of these on here, though the only reason this hasn't been pulled is probably due to the current release of Clint Eastwoods movie on J Edgar Hoover..

  • @irish89055 It's not Carol Burnett...however, her show wouldn't start until the fall of 1967.

Besides, Burnett once said she would starve in the streets before doing an endorsement-type commercial.

  • Just think... what if FBI asks a question nobody answers any question ? How would this flick have played out ? Just a thought...........

  • "McCloud......!!!" ok, nice to see youtube allowing long uploads... anyone else annoyed when a vid doesn't allow you to fast forward... i was waiting for the Ford Truck I beam ad with the light bulbs.. As to the remard regarding the current crime shows.. this is more simplistic, and the ads too but i think i enjoy shows from this era better.. todays show are too edgy and try to be too cleaver by half..anyone??

  • I loved watching this.....it brings back wonderful memories and makes me wish I could go back to those times.

  • This show was better than today's Criminal Minds.

  • WARNER BROS IS ABOUT TO RELEASE THE WHOLE SERIES ON DVD-THE FBI-BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR IT-ALL 9 SEASONS 1965-1973

  • The show is on D.V.D. as part of the Warner Archives Collection, except that they omit the "The F.B.I. In Color" tag at the beginning plus the "Ribbon" tags that closed each act. Few people know (and even WItkopedia doesn't mention this) is that J. Edgar Hoover appeared in a filmed segment at the beginning of the season opener for the show's first seven seasons.

  • A very good episode with the guest appearance of one of the best actress of the 60s and the 70s Antoinette Bower! She has a tons of guest star credits through more than two decades! what a class!

  • Notice early in this ep a cameo by a 19 year old Peggy Lipton..................within a

year she would break out as The Mod Squad's Julie Barnes.BTW!!!!

  • @joboots007 : She also has a small appearance in another QM series around the same time, The Invaders, in the episode "Wall of Crystal"...unfortunately, her character and her newlywed husband are killed off by the aliens before the opening credits in that one.

  • One of the series' best episodes, with wall-to-wall action, and a great performance by J.D. Cannon as the villain...and it's neat to see the full opening credits and the old commercials as well!

  • @recordman64 Remember him on McCloud as Chief Clifford?

  • @radmason : Who could forget? BTW, Cannon didn't play Chief Clifford in the McCloud pilot, but another frequent FBI villain did, Peter Mark Richman.

  • @recordman64 Sorry Sir for the mix up on my part.

  • @radmason : No need to apologize...there was no mix-up...Cannon played Chief Clifford in the series, Richman played Clifford in "McCloud: Who Killed Miss USA?", the TV-movie that was the pilot film (i.e., the movie that sold the series to the network).

In case you've never seen it, Richman plays the character of Clifford with a little softer edge than Cannon did...he was more harsh than Richman. Both actors were ideal for the Chief Clifford role and all their FBI parts.

  • @recordman64 OK i watch the series late back then & didn't see the pilot Movie i'll see whether i can find it on dvd & watch it. When i saw the series thats when i seen Cannon on there as a matter of fact A&E showed the reruns a few years back in the afternoons & i would set my vcr & taped them while i was @ work they ran the Mystery Movie of the week Episodes like McCloud as well as McMillian, Banacek, Columbo etc.

  • @radmason : The McCloud pilot is on the DVD of the first and second season (they're together in one set)

  • @recordman64 thanks for the info i see you're into music as well lets stay in contact by email. so we wont take up reply space.

  • @radmason : Cool...my e-mail is elvimark01@yahoo.com

  • Thanks for posting this. "The FBI" was one of my grandmother's favorite shows back in the day. This brings back many great memories.

  • @sixtieskid062, Same here.

  • one of the best tv series ever.the golden age of television.thanks

  • Wow...the commercial for the Ford Fairlane at about 31:30 use the Beatles' Norwegian Wood as theme music. Didn't know their music rights were on the market back then.

    Good show...thanks for posting.

  • WOW, This is AWESOME!! Please post more of these! They really bring back great memories!!!

  • is that obamas wife at 56:50 next weeks telly saavales episode was a 2 part episode issued as a movie la cosa nostra enemy of the fbi

  • Thye Commercials were so much differant then. They actually informed you about the Product, and were not "pushed" on you in the most obno0xious manner possible the way today's commercials are. The amount of time set aside for Commercials was less than half of what it is today. Also, products that dealt with various "Bodily Functions" were not allowed to advertise, so Parents didn't need to worry about what their kids saw every time a Show went to a Commercial Break.

  • Wow! this really brings back great memories to see these shows with the commercials in them. I used to watch The FBI when i was young. thanks for uploading this classic.

  • @ctlacy1963 Remmeber anything that can leak will leak on a ford ford stands for fix or repair daily thats why the FBI uses them its the taxpayers money so what do they care j edgar hoover said you cant have any episodes of the fbi where a witness was killed or illustrating hoovers gay escapades and no episodes making hippie commie peacenicks or negro civil rights demonstators look good
