WARNING!! This movie is pathetic. It was sold to kids, as a feel good, funny, dog lover movie. In the end, the dog is euthanized while the entire audience cries! I saw kids, on Christmas day, walking out of this pathetic movie in tear!!! How shameful. They deliberately marketed the movie falsely... just to make a few bucks. Let me step back and say the movie itself is not bad. But the marketing of it was shameful and pathetic. Even adults were in tears. Which is fine IF that is what you expect!!

i saw this movie with my cousins and my uncle and my mom. at the end everyone was crying and so was my mom and i was about to cuz thats how my dog died. but these girls behind us were sobbing so me and my cousins started laughing at them. lol

This is one of my all-time favourite films. At some parts, I admit it does drag-on. But, the film is both comical and emotional.

and when jennifer's (i forget wife's name) 'baby' died the dog comforted her. the dog provided love for the family (esp. when he was trained).
