This commercial, theme song, and title (Victory!) make the show look like a new cheerful, exciting and adventurous Gundam show for a new era (first Gundam tv series in 90's). It couldn't be anymore misleading... or deceptive.
Those who saw this CM were probably shocked by the show that turned out to be probably the most depressing Gundam show in history (even more than Z Gundam, though V Gundam is my favorite UC Gundam tv series).
@Kanuskiz And this is exactly why I'm not worried about AGE at all. Victory Gundam earned its place in the franchise just fine after this trailer. AGE will earn its place too.
You got a point there. But one thing that still bothers me about AGE is the character design. Way too childish for some characters, which will probably throw me off whenever they show up. And I kinda wish they stop introducing a usual blue-and-white-and-red colored Gundam as main character's MS for once.
Do not trust the openings...
