you guys rock. i wish i'd built more cool shit like that when i was your age. here's a welding tip. strike the rod away from where you want to start the weld and drag the stinger to it. it will make it easier to start your arc. now i want to built a cheap chopper/go-cart.

@gruppdav Ehhh dont think so. Depends on the engine though. Some 50cc are real fast some arent. Try it out and see.

hey brendon you shou be wereing a mask dont breath that shit in iv ben welding before didnt have a mask on and a week later you cant breath gasping for air next time were a mask cheers sam

The gases given off blows away and doesnt reach under the welding helmet so im fine. Thats why u should always weld in a well ventilated area to stop the gases from hanging around. I make sure i do it outside in the breeze so it blows away. Thanks for the tip though.
