@FashionistaLuvsNY It's certainly possible. Bats have very small teeth and sometimes it's impossible to tell if the bite broke the skin, or, even if you've been bitten. Since Rabies is almost always fatal once the symptoms set in, it's best to simply get the shots because once you get sick, it's too late.

hi nixsz09 i would recommend that u go doctor for a blood sample and explain what happend and yes you can still be vaccinated even if you have rabies it can take up to 2 years to develop but i would recommend you get the vaccine soon

I wish I read your comments before I brought my healthy maltese to get her anti rabies, distemper and bordetella injections. Weeks later, my dog cant stand up for periods of time, has leg stiffnes, severe itching, depressed, licks the air, weak muscles, cant play or jump anymore, etc etc. I already brought her to 2 VETS and they dont believe it was the vaccine. The vet remained in full denial, said the dog needed bone marrow transplant, repeated blood transfusions, immune suppressants, I argued it's the mercury/virus combo & he needs EDTA & I refused treatment, the vet of 40yrs & friend of the family became very upset that I question standard protocol & said Don't be surprised if that dog is dead in 3 days & I said I won't.

I already had EDTA & heavy metal detox herbs because I used it on myself & my dogs but his gums were pure white, he was anemic so I went to vitamin cottage & got iron/hemoglobin supplement then got poweraid for rehydration. In 3 days Jake came alive again, drank water like a horse and ate and ate making up for lost time, his gums turned red. Thank you so much. I will try your advice asap and will let you know what happens. You cant believe how much i cried already watching my dog from perfect health to being almost disabled after the vaccinations. Sometimes she cant barely stand up and would fall on her own poops. Adding insult to injury is the VETS comments that they havent seen any bad side effects of vaccines in their years of practice.

And that is what is so infuriating. The reason there is no real data on official record is because the vets work in collusion as a team with the drug companies and WILL NOT report these devastating side affects in relation to the vaccine, that's why there is no proof because they hide the truth. I also want to mention that when I took my dog back for final bloodwork the assistant could not find Jake's file, she said he must have taken it home. The vet removed the file in case I brought in authorities for a lawsuit or confiscation of files so never warn a vet if there are authorities that may raid the joint & insist on the files because they hide files, they hide facts of a dirty little secret crippling people's pets. Very upsetting
