Why does this guy in a flight suit have a beard? Even if its an old clip, the Air Force has never allowed beards on its personnel.

I think that rule applies for all new enlistments. I think that SOMETIMES there are SOME exceptions made for older brass, super geeks and special forces and under cover. I think subcontractors are sometimes allowed to grow beards hair. ;)

The guy in the flight suit as identified in the video is M. Barry Sterman, Ph.D. UCLA School of Medicine, not USAF personell.
