I had the same problem

What i did was when i sat the CD in the CD Driver i didnt klick the BFME 2 button to start the game but waited awhile. It comes up a window that says will you accept or decline this program? Klick accept. Then it will pop up a window saying like: Read me file, Search for Uptadates, Web, play ect. Klick play.

Then it will work ( it worked for me at least). I have to do this evry time i start the game. It is beacause when i installed it i dindt create a account at once.

If what Handq said aint working then do the following:

1; Insert game and wait for it 2 load.

2; box comes up saying accept/decline click accept.

3; when the box that says Play and all that comes up click on cancel.

4; Find the short cut and click it 1ce (left click)

5; now right click it and click on 'RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR'

6; let the game load and try doing the online account making thing.

MAKE SURE U HAVE THE MOST RECENT UPDATE OR IT WONT WORK !!

how do you play BFME 2 online? When I try to play online it says I need to install a patch, when I try to do that it exits out of the game and says "You need administrative rights to install the patch" I have fully patched BFME 2 yet it still wont let me online

left click on the shortcut just 1 time

then just cllick on run as administrator and thenall you have to do is click accept and do the online thing

How do you mean? You need to have the BFME 2(to make this character + expansion), And than you you just click on 'My Heroes'
