  • @SadSusi I also love her quote..

  • why does some japanese put some vinegar to there rice??does it taste good? i'm curios cause u put some vinegar to the rice... & one thing when ur going to soak the grains(rice) in the water for 30 min. and when u cook it's half cook u can still taste some grains (rice) right cause here in our country we don't let the rice wait until it cook...^_^"

  • @TheJmiketay Sushi is the rice. The toppings are irrelevant--they can be raw, cooked, vegetarian, fish, or meat. Sashimi is just raw fish, served with condiments or by itself.

  • what is the black thing?

  • @1991784512

if the black thing you are referring to is on the bamboo roller its a seaweed sheet.

  • @nbaietti australia

  • Whats the name of the bowl she pours the rice into?

  • where can u buy seaweed in america!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The nori fresh from the package is dried and looks (and feels) extremely fragile. I have a feeling the nori will snap in two the moment will snap in two if I roll the nori dry. Is there no need to moister the nori before you put the rice on it?

  • @Sawayuu7 no, the nori abosorbs some of the moisture from the rice when you spread the sushi rice on it... which will allow it to be rolled

  • Can we use White Rice?

  • what thing are they talking about???i dont know that thing?:(

  • whats the black thing that is around the rise called?

  • @WindDragon93 :: Nori, its seaweed

  • you have to be gentle just like you want your man to be....funny

  • This isn't really what you have to do, There are much faster ways, I made sushi in less than 5 minutes.

  • Sushi Vinegar

    Ingredients * 1/3 cup white vinegar * 2 tablespoons sugar * 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

Directions 1. Combine the above ingredients in a small saucepan. 2. Bring to a boil and stir to dissolve everything. 3. Remove from heat and let cool before adding to the rice.

  • i didn't eat sushi in my life so sometime i will eat it and i think it's so taste yaa it's look like

  • what was that sause that she put in the rice? I didnt understand

  • @pikaqiu888 i think it's sugar mixed with salt

  • @pikaqiu888 its rice vinegar mixed with salt and sugar

  • @ZooTsisTxaus Lmao.

  • @ZooTsisTxaus Deffinetly takes a lot of practice. I think the result is worth the practice :-) plus it doesn't taste any diffrent if it doesn't come out perfect!

  • ohh wow that looks so cool :3333

  • @ZooTsisTxaus You should know how to make your own after watching XD

  • One thing they forgot to tell, is that each time you cut the roll, wet the knife again so it doesn't stick when you cut the sushi roll again.

  • wow how come when i cut sushi when its a inside roll, my sushi squishes down!! wtf

  • use a sharper knife?

  • Maybe you need a sharper knife?

  • i realy love eat sushi...yummy

    salmond fish!!!

  • I did not like sushi at all. Then I tasted it in Vancouver, BC , Canada. It was in a restaurant called TSUNAMI SUSHi and since then I love it. The best sushi in all of Canada is in Vancouver.

  • I live here, and have been there. It's amazing.

  • u can tell the way she makes it so perfectly, shes pro

  • I made sushi today, I tried one piece and it is very yummy. One thing I want you to know about sushi is don't buy dried seaweed, buy roasted seaweed. Because when I used the dry seaweed, the roll didn't hold as good as the roasted seaweed and it is crunchy. I like crunchy, but I like to use the right ingredients.

  • Yuuuuuuuummm, I literally LUV SUSHI

    <33333

  • love sushi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE <33333333333333333 SUSHI!!!!! sometimes i wonder why other people hate sushi..THOSE PEOPLE ARE WEIRD!! SUSHI ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Doesn't matter if it's raw fish... if they don't like it, let me eat it.. it's delicious!!

  • @OceanEmotional1997 :: im Vegetarian and i love sushi! XD

carrot, cucumber, avocado and tamagoyaki in the middle! ^-^b

  • @OceanEmotional1997 but i like that stuff too

  • @OceanEmotional1997 but its better with raw fish =P

  • @OceanEmotional1997 Even if it is RAW FISH, they still rocks!!! FTW SUSHI WITH RAW FISH

  • i fucking love sushi if you guys wanna know how to make sushi inside out check out my page nice video dude 5/5 stars

  • Do you guys know how to cook the rice ?

Do we need to cook it in the rice cooker ? or just place in the rice cooker for few minutes ?

  • first u need to clean the rice.. u gotta wash 6/7 times before doing anything.. then, for each cup of rice, u should put the same amount of water.. u cook it for 10 minutes with strong fire, then u take the fire to a middle burn for 5 minutes, and finally u cook it for 1 last minute in the weakest fire.

Gotta let it cool a while in a plastic bawl with a wet towel or something covering it. finally u add the vinagre, and thats it, i hope this helps

  • No, you can make rice on a stove top. Every type has different instructions, so you just follow what it says on the package. A rice cooker is unnecessary.

  • yoko ono !

  • I love how obviously the Japanese girl is British educated

  • I think she's Aussie

  • nice explaination

  • she works jus lik morimoto

  • whoa....so awesome, love this vid, so useful, i got a food assignemtn to cook at home and im gonna make suhi...wooo

  • I LOVE SUSHI<3333

  • g8 vid

  • what are the ingredients?

  • the rice ingredients vary depending on which places you go to to learn about it but the ones I've found forthe vinegar mixture are: ½ cup white rice vinegar or Japanese rice vinegar

    2 teaspoons of salt

¼ cup of sugar and it is used to make 2 cups of sushi rice

  • damn! i need a woman like that too , to make me some nice sushi!! great vid, thanks

  • thats not sushi, thats kim bap

  • Get your facts right. She did not season it with sesame oil and sesame seeds, key ingredients to kimbap and what sets it apart from its Japanese counterpart. This is how nori maki is made.

  • i need a bamboo sheet. X[

  • Is it OK to melt cheese on top of it when it's finished and dip it in thousand island dressing? What's that? I think the food police are kicking in my front door.

    Nice recipe.

  • hahaha maybe if you've deepfried it prior

  • For someone with a screen name of eaceloveandkindness you sure are a bitter little twat. They have a cure for people like you: a weekend seminar for the humor impaired.

And what country are you calling "ours?" Spain? France? Greece?

  • Jesus, it gets better. You peaceloveandkindness has a Journey songamong his/her favorites. I guess you do have a sense of humor as this was the worst band in the history of rock.

  • why does it matter what kind of rice you use?

  • long grain rice isn't as soft as short grain

  • aww it looks delicious but i'm not a sushi person!!

  • whats that black thing??

  • nori, seeweed. very cheep to buy and you get them in sheets

  • cheepy cheepy!

  • This sushi is specifically "Futo-Maki" go on the net to get all the ingrediants and how to make the egg (she called it an omlet...which I find funny even though I'm half Aussie). I like to use lox from Costco. It stay fresh longer and you can add anything to it!~!

  • lox stays fresher because lots of salt is added for taste and to preserve it

  • Forgot to add since lox lasts longer you can have sushi more often and the price is right. Makes great appetizers!

  • awesome! it looks so easy, but i'll probably take me a year to do one perfectly.

  • pretty :D

  • yes, short grain rice

  • wait when you steam it do you still add more water?

  • you dont add more water. just simmer it

  • im starving

  • lol not british accent its australian :P

  • I tried this today, DISASTER!

  • What's the last orange thing ???

  • i think she said it`s an omelet

  • its Japanese omellete

  • fried crab sushi:D:D:D sooooooooooooooooooooo ggggooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood

  • Looks good and professionaly rolled, love the British accent too.

I'm making Ikura sushi this week just got back from Alaska got me a 2LB salmon roe, YUM!

  • woah salmon?! perfect for sushi! got a yellow fin tuna there too?
