Their CD sounds very pure. Beautiful harmonies create the texture of the music-- no instruments, no studio gimmicks-- the way acappella is supposed to be. The word "a cappella" means "as in the chapel" because in the times of early sacred music, they weren't allowed to bring instruments into the chapel, they were considered profane, used for the popular music of the day. We usually don't find this purity in contemporary recorded music.
I bought their CD and didn't find it awful, as you said.I like listening to it. Are you sure that wasn't your speaker system? I agree they need a DVD with better quality than cell phone video.
You know, all these groups that you find, a record producer would be real smart to sign 'em up and let them do their original sound, not changing their sound with electronics and such.. It's not only the sound but their personalities! The way they move. Actually, changed my mind -- who needs a record producer anyway? Wouldn't have the visual! Maybe you're the one (eventually) to put together a DVD of them all? and more that you find? Cool, relaxing sounds.
@LanzaLover2 I was thinking the same thing, but maybe a studio woud some how change them .. i heard a cd they sell it was awful flat sound no life tiny sound .. it must have been made on the real cheap... they would need a good studio and maybe people watching them as well ....
