The spineless BBC execs waited until they had the excuse of "cost cutting" before they sacked him, but no doubt it was down to the gaffs and giggles or the posing in a gay mag. They seem to be labouring under the pretence that we're all as boring and miserable as them. To be fair the weather presenters have no autocue and can't see their maps, most the forecasts are live and they can have up to five people gibbering in their ear at a one time-- so I think it's right the BBC is forgiving.
