I'd love to help out in any way I can...ok so you said you find it difficult to part the hair.... umm you basically separate the first 2 or 3 inches of hair closest to your face.... i show how i do it in the video at about 4:30 ..... and as to where to grab pieces of hair from... each cornrow is basically a tiny french braid so you would do the exact same thing you would with a french braid..i have a video on how to french braid too :)

Using some sort of gel or hairspray helps A LOT.... in the video i managed to even include my baby hairs into the french braids....if its too difficult or if they are too short than you can always leave them out and that will give you a super cute girly effect also <3
