@AirsoftFlorida1 yea the original video has a better quality, i just did a lot of conversion to be able to edit it on iMovie. If you're planning of getting one i recommend you to get the HD one, i kinda have a regret of getting this actually. ;(

I have a 4G card memory , and i receord videos using the camera and it works fine , but then the vidros are on the camera and not the the memory card

can you help , pls ? i wnat to know if i can keep recording using the memory card when the camera memory is full ??

if were using Windows Movie Maker to edit the video you really need to convert first the MPG video to AVI or WMV file format. WMV would be perfect cause im still experiencing a lot of crashing if the video file is in AVI format. About the video converter there's a lot of free download applications for pc, try to search on google or yahoo.

but aside from windows movie maker, do you have any other video editing programs?

Question: After transferring the video into PC, Do we get uncompressed video or compressed?? because for editing we mostly require uncompressed footage.

no, for editing we require uncompressed AVI video, after editing, we compress the video in a delivery format such as MPEG, so my question is that, do this cam capture video in uncompressed quality AVI format (large file size), or already compressed MPEG etc.?

oh ok, the output video format is just MPEG which im dissapointed about and im not that impressed with the video quality of this handycam.. :(

about the widescreen thing.. there's two options of aspect ratio, the 16:9 widescreen and 4:3 ratio.

sure! ok what basically is the problem you're encountering? connecting to mac? or playing/editing the videos from it?

My problem is connecting. I open up the handycam drive thing under the Macintosh HD then go to like MP Root, then 101... and when i go to watch or check to see if the video is the right one I want, it says that the video could not be played.

oh i see, yea macs doesn't really play MPEG file videos like the one from this handycam, you have to download another media player. I recommend you the VLC Media Player, this is what i'm using and it works great, you can download it for free.. :)
