I'll admit, I bawwed at the end of this game. Between PeaceWalker!Boss sacrificing itself and Snake finally turning his back on what little good he had left in him, ("Call me... Big Boss.") I couldn't keep it together. This is one of two games to ever make me cry. The other of COURSE being Snake Eater.

He speaks about how The Boss betrayed him in PW... After all, he's "surpassed even The Boss" - he wants a world where what happened to The Boss (and himself) can't happen again. It's either a very poor interpretation of her will (doubtful, BB is a very intelligent man) or he's using her Will as a cover for his own movement.

I don't know about best in the series, but this game is definitely up there. I'd rank them 1. MGS 3, 2. Peace Walker, 3. MGS 1, 4. MGS 4... All are awesome games though 2 and Portable Ops are the only games in the series I'm not really a huge fan of.

Even after Chapter 4 there is more to the story of PW than any other MGS ever. True, PW definitely has more to do after you finish the game than any other entry in the series. I give 3 the edge only because I thought it had some more crazy boss battles, that's something that was missing from PW. The boss battles were good but they were all against mechs. I can certainly understand why somebody would like this game better though, it is awesome and easily the most impressive game I've ever played on a handheld system, it even tops a lot of home console games.
