Great topic for a vid! I am almost 40 & have huge eyes. Just discovering they are changing, sagging & lim not happy about it. Ha ha. Thanks for the tips x
nearly fifty and just learning to deal with the eye wrinkles. cherish your smooth lids, young ladies, they do not last forever! (wahhhhhh sadly. but i still have great lashes!) thanks for the great tips!
Lisa, you are fantastic. Wish I had found you long ago. I was looking at my eyeliner today and thought to post on FB "At what age should a lady stop wearing liquid winged liner? lol when she can't make a straight line anymore!" ..but then I though, hey I will look and see if Lisa has any tips for applying winged liner for "maturing" eyes. There you are, what a dear!
You don't know how much I wish I could flip the clock back....if your tutorials had been around 25 years ago, I would have had soooo much fun! Absolutely love the looks you create. Can't wait to try this on my old lady eyes! Thank you.....
thank you so much for doing this video! I am 48 and so many tutorials are geared for the younger gals. I am going to try this technique. Very helpful for me. Love your tutorials!
ok so i have a question i am the same age as you are and I have only just begun with the pin up looks. my question is i seems to have the droopy eyelid and after a couple hours i have to go and use soap and a qtip to get rid of it. do you have any tips on that one? I would really appreciate it.
Thank you! Great video. Sooo helpful. Im 37 & live in mostly sunless Cleveland Ohio & haven't been 100% happy with my winged liner& it never occurred to me that my maturing skin has been the biggest problem.
Thank you so much for making this video! I have worn winged liner for over 15 years and am getting into my 30's now and was starting to wonder if it's looking too harsh, so this video helps so much!!! :D
@vgfigue Same here. I only apply eyeliner in the inner- and outercorners of my eye and leave out the center of the lid. It sounds weird and it takes a little practise, but this way you can wear eyeliner without having our eyes disappear in the sockets. To have the wing in the outside corner connect with the rest of your lashline, you can tightline your upper waterline. It's kind of hard to describe what exactly I'm talking about, sorry, haha.
Thank you so much for the tips! I don't have lines or wrinkles yet (knock on wood) but my eyelids do have a weird fold on the outside edge of my crease area. It can make winged eyeliner difficult to apply. I'm going to try this out!
There's no way you're 36?? You're wearing it well :D Cheers for the tutorial, used the 'Classy Cruella' a few weeks back for a college event, I've never had as many compliments, thanks again :D
Very helpful and I think this method gives a much more fun and awake look! I could imagine this look behind a nice nautical inspired dress posing by a yacht. . its just happy and breezy I think! :)
I'm SO glad you're doing a video on those rollers! I bought them at Ulta a few months back, used too many and my hair was incredibly kinky. I'm very excited to see it!
One more thing...I have small eyes any old time, and I always thought winging the liner before you get to the end of your eye will make them look even smaller. You have shown this is not the case though :-)
As a 35 year old Australian (yep - hot sun!!) I just learnt SO much. I really appreciate this video, so many wonderful and interesting ideas. I could really see the difference each step made on your eyes and you broke it up clearly. Thank you!! X
This was a great video.I could really see your eyes pop with a wider look when you were doing the liner and the lashes really made them gorgeous.I have those same rollers,They are great.
This video really helped me figure out why my eyes have been looking so sad in pictures. I don't have maturing eyes yet, but every time I wear fake lashes, my eyes look sad. And it's because my eye shape naturally points down toward the outsides. So thank you for this video! I will try your tips next time.
@jponder924 Carry the line as far as you can without running into problems and then finish the 'winged look' with shadow! :) Carry that up onto the browbone and it sould give you a similar look...
Thank you! I'm 35 & just started noticed some (GASP!) lines! And I have a hooded lid so...yeah. If I'm not smokey, I'm winged - so this was the biggest help EVER. :D :D And what you said about the dry climate is true...I'm in AZ.
Fantastic Tips! I'm not quite to the stage of having to do this just yet, but we'll all get there. Plus I think this would be ideal for people who are just looking to lift up the outside corners of their eyes too:)
Thank you so much for this! It was very helpful indeed. You're very right about where you live, playing a big part in what happens to your skin. I live in California and am already dealing with this problem and I'm only 25. :(
This question is unrelated but I couldn't find how else to write you. You have phenomenal skin and I know your routine. I too have dry skin and I'm 40. I don't wear makeup everydAy. Do you do your cleansing routine everyday if you don't wear makeup?

question? so, after you make these tutorials, do you keep the makeup on for the rest of the day or erase it? I'm so curious. lol
