Really weird, I was looking for this track only yesterday and entered the title and the artist never came up, and absolute eternal banger and a bass that enduces that involutary break neck action. Lovely post.
I remember this song killing it in RPM (before it was changed to The Guvernment) Dudes dressed in ascots and wide ass bell bottoms, Girls dressed in baby doll dresses and tights with the lace on the bottom. Everybody dancing and having fun. We used to have great times.
Wow alot of fellow Torontonians (current and former) on here. Cool. Yeah the Phoenix Concert Theatre on Sunday nights, those were the times. I wish I had a time machine.
I was in Toronto a couple of months ago in the club and they were banging this as part of the regular mix.....it sounds even better after multiple shots of Patron...but I agree with everyone of the post....song was soooo underrated and still sounds great!!!! Thanks for the post.
I know if I kept looking, I would find this classic! Thanks for posting and I haven't heard this since back in the day! You are truly one of the DJ's of YouTube!

I'm just like everybody else... I have been searching for this song since the mid 90's... never knew there was a video for it... I need the mp3 in my life, can anybody help me out?
hilarious that you all are obsessed like me... I just found this song on here few days ago, it's been haunting me and I never knew the name.. I had to google search it for 3 days!!
Yea it took me forever to find this song. I had it recorded on a cassette tape from about 92 I think, and i had to go thru a few crates to find it. Luckily the DJ announced the name before I had cut off the recording. I even asked my girl, the music guru, and she didnt know this song. I didnt even know they had a video of it til i looked for it in here. The beat is one of the best ever. So hypnotizing.
@karey26 Was it that long ago? Dang...but yea, the beat is haunting. This is a song that would ever get tired of listening too on my Ipod when Im excercising. I sometimes even replay it 4 times during the workout lmao
i had this song but lost it and it took me years finding it and i have noticed that YOUR NECK STARTS MOVING AUTOMATICALLY WHEN YOU LISTEN TO THIS SONG!!!!!!!!
how ahead of its time was this sh!t? too good, too too good...yes, in toronto this was a staple on electric circus and on chris shepherd's and deadly headley's radio shows, beautiful song
my dad had this song on his reel to reel, so when i got my computer, i asked him the name of the group. it took like 2 years to find them, didnt think to check youtube. i got the mp3 version of this song, no rap though. love this song
Was RPM or Pheonix ring a bell for anyone. These were slammin' clubs in Toronto in the 1990's. This was a big big tune back then . . . Bahamas out! peace and Love to all.
This was a big tune back in the day, It brings back memories of my club days in Toronto. I now live in the Bahamas and was searching for this track for quite a while and here it is! Peace and Love to all . . .
Like everyone here expressed it is a hot hot song.. takes me back in the days when I went to the clubs and just danced and danced to get into the clubs where fun cause there would always be a long ass line up hahaa and of course my friends and i never waited in line...

Yea. This song is definately fire. I kept asking my wife if she remembered a song named "I surrender" but she didnt. I said it was one of the hottest song I heard. I dug into my crate of tapes and went through 100 of them before I finally found it. Luckily I stopped recording it right after the DJ said their name. I finally googled it and here it was. I listened to it like 20 times.
BIG BIG BIG TUNE. Took me awhile to find this, could not remeber the groups name. I hate to sound like my parents, but music just not the same anymore.
