  • i searched for this tune for almost 20 years, this was THE tune back in the day

    nothing got the floor moving like this tune, simply a stunner

    still as good today as it was back in 1990/91

  • I remember this song killing it in RPM (before it was changed to The Guvernment) Dudes dressed in ascots and wide ass bell bottoms, Girls dressed in baby doll dresses and tights with the lace on the bottom. Everybody dancing and having fun. We used to have great times.

  • I was in Toronto a couple of months ago in the club and they were banging this as part of the regular mix.....it sounds even better after multiple shots of Patron...but I agree with everyone of the post....song was soooo underrated and still sounds great!!!! Thanks for the post.

  • Yea it took me forever to find this song. I had it recorded on a cassette tape from about 92 I think, and i had to go thru a few crates to find it. Luckily the DJ announced the name before I had cut off the recording. I even asked my girl, the music guru, and she didnt know this song. I didnt even know they had a video of it til i looked for it in here. The beat is one of the best ever. So hypnotizing.

  • Yea. This song is definately fire. I kept asking my wife if she remembered a song named "I surrender" but she didnt. I said it was one of the hottest song I heard. I dug into my crate of tapes and went through 100 of them before I finally found it. Luckily I stopped recording it right after the DJ said their name. I finally googled it and here it was. I listened to it like 20 times.

  • thank you-thank you for posting this hot song/video...this was the hit back in the summer of 1989. this was a time when the UK produced some of the best rnb/soul in so many years (Soul II Soul, Lisa Stansfield, The Chimes, etc)
