  • We build up walls for ourselves through our lives...only to break them down...and come up behind us again...

  • 7:34. No words needed.

  • It looks like the video team never knew the Floyd was a 4-piece band, not a 3. Lousy video, but thanks for the post.

  • The best guitar solo of all time.

  • Roger is so into it during the second solo, actually they all are... They are just gods

  • in years to come this will be classical music rated along side mozart et al

  • Is it just me or does Roger come over more arrogant and less proffesional than Dave.Maybe that was and is the problem as to why the band don't tour together anymore.Dave still sings well here though Roger is weak.

  • la mejor, simplemente brillante, magia pura!!!!

    floyd (L)

  • dios!

  • This Song Makes Me Cry

Remember When... They Were Pink Floyd

  • They were simply well ahead of their time.

You just cant put a time frame, or era on their music.

They did pioneer a new and deep frontier.

Theyre the Beethoven of Pink Floydenian music.

I not only love them, but I equally and deeply respect and admire them.

I just thank them for their contributions to music.

  • @nononsensegeorge well said

  • The best fucking song of all time!

  • Thank you Micky Meat. I have your four videos set up as my favorite playlist. Did you notice they didn't show Richard Wright until the end? I think it was just ignorance on the part of the director, unaware that that wonderfully talented keyboardist was part of the band.

  • Excelente, simplemente Excelente!

  • the second solo makes my cry is so feeling

  • The magic here is the presence of the genius - Roger Waters.

  • RIP Richard Wright

  • i live an a pink floyd fan dies a pink floyd fan

  • They rock as much as they did in the 60s-80s. Pink Floyd will never die and will be in the hearts of us all.

  • omg i looked for this before but i couldnt

find it and its been here for two years!!

And i was also told that roger wasnt there!!

    Man the bull ppl spread!!

This was amazing!! Does anyone know if the

whole concert is on here in parts??

  • Do a search for Pink Floyd Live 8. The Pink Floyd set was:

    Breathe

    Wish You Were Here

    Money

    Comfortably Numb

  • WOW since a last time back together with a perfect song.. awesome

  • the cause dwarfs their petty differences.

  • one of the best moments in history of live music

  • love this track ive got good memories listning to this one

  • Rogers doesn't look at Gilmour once; instead he tries to draw as much attention to himself onstage as possible. God, what an asshole.

  • Nah man - it was a big experience for him - you must've seen him at the beginning of WYWH - he was just enjoying playing with the others again.

  • this is one of the best Pink Floyd performances not only for the amazing song they choosed (the best of all) but for the meaning of this little reunion.

HOWEVER the PULSE version of Comfortably Numb is the BEST INTERPRETATION EVER even above the original version. Who knows what possessed Gilmour that time because that IS the best solo of all time.

  • I agree but somethings must've possessed sir Gilmour again because Remember that Night was amazing probably even better than Pulse, and i mean both of his renditions of it (w/ bowie, and with Wright).

  • rogers lost his voice but tis still the best performance

  • I hope i've been named by thís David! Most beautiful song ever heard in the best performance ever seen!

  • 2nd that,

That solo brang a tear to my eye.

One of the best solos i have EVER heard,

    def top 5.

Im going straight to the learning pad!!!

  • considered the 2nd best guitar solo ever

  • ur fuckign gay...dont post that if u dotn likei t

  • immortale

  • I am just amazed at how well David Gilmour's voice has held up. He is amazing! Meanwhile, it's almost as if Rick wasn't even there!

  • Yeah, I noticed that... they rarely ever cut to a shot of Rick.

  • yea that was bullshit every member dezerves reconition he probably felt like shit when he watched that idk i jus feel bad for him

  • One of the greatest moments in rock and roll and it just happened a couple of years ago! This is a most breathtaking performance. David Gilmore is marvelous.

  • David Gilmour is Pink Floyd.

  • no my friend...

David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Syd Barrett, Rick Wright & Nick Mason is The Pink Floyd Sound

  • Did Gilmour wrote the lyrics of all PF songs between 1972-1983, Fibostop? And most of the music? Read a little before giving an opinion.

  • it took the 4 of them, or at least waters and gilmour to make the songs great, pink floyd didnt do as well w/o waters, but look at the crap he's writen ever since

  • I love this tune so much sends the shivers going lyrics are out of this world not much else to say about it really but immense

  • Aside from the tesnion that seems to still exist with Waters and Gilmour, you can definately tell that Gilmour loved doing this song again, you can see it in his playing and in his face. I dont care what people think or say about it all, When you are up there on stage and playing those songs, tension and disputes leave you, and just for a few moments even if they were the last moments, Pink floyd with 4 of them again sounded acted and felt like what they once were. They ARE the Best, ever.

  • Absolutle stunning. I saw Waters live in Vancouver and he was equall if not even better than this. Without Waters, these guys are nothing. Great song.

  • jajajajajajajajajaja equall or better ? jajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajaja

  • Who will create that solo? Can the Water's guest musicians create it? Only imitate it.

Without Gilmour this song wouldn't have any sense.

  • Obviously one of the best songs ever from one of the greatest bands ever.

  • Love the way after completely tearing that solo to kingdom come David Gilmour says, 'Thanks very much good night' as if he'd just finished his last pint at the pub before going home!

  • gilmore is quite clearly the greatest guitarist ever

  • yer i was at earls court on friday the show was wicked wasent it! did you see the flying spaceman

  • glad to see them all together again!

Gilmour, Wright, and Mason for life!! they sound just as good without waters, sometimes even better without him. hahahaha he is just too full of himself

  • What the fuck are you talking about???

If roger waters wasnt around then there would not be a pink floyd, and they would not play theese 4 great songs. Pink Floyd isnt the same without the true hero Roger Waters, but they are great that's for sure.

  • he's full of himself becuase he wrote everything. if waters wasn't in the band then you coudl say goodbye to the entire wall album. you'd basically have the division bell.

  • What exactly is said division bell

  • i wish theyd just tour already!

  • he is the legend...great!!!

  • good stuff

  • I love this band and I loved this performance the only thing that annoyed me a little butfrom a bass players perspective is roger waters playing or in sencond verse lack of playing at times, mibbee being caught up in the monent but it flattened the verse a little, made up for it in the final solo though

  • Lol... gotta love the faces on the crowd. I bet truckloads of them were there waiting to see Mariah Carey or Robbie Williams, and when they saw this they suddenly felt they might have just been mistaken for their entire lives... lol. Learn the truth folks. This is music.

  • Amen to that!

  • fuck that solo gives me the chills every time... well pretty much every Gilmour solo gives me the chill haha

  • Yeah but nothing ever beats the solo on Comfortably Numb. It's just something else.

  • It was a Great Idea to put all members of PINK FLOYD sing and play together after so many years ot separation and bitter feelings. David is wonderful as allways!!!

  • er, syd?

  • Syd's gone. That's too bad, but that's the way it is. May he rest soundly.

  • I've heard Roger Waters essentially blew his voice out doing all the screaming in The Wall. Still, it's a wonderful concert.

  • Why must people sing along..Shut up and watch the band. Especially since this particular lineup hasent played together in years. Save the singing for your cars people!!!I would expect more out of europeans.

  • It's called enjoying the concert. Save the mindless idiocy for yourself. Would expect more from North Americans...

  • awesome

  • demasiado arrecho, provoca demasiados sentimientos, uno no sabe si llorar o reir, tremendo video, y muy bien escogido para la causa del Live 8

  • While this was a very emotional moment for all Floyd fans yonger and older, I can't imagine what it was like for them. After what they have all been through, seeing them together, let alone sharing a stage playing some of thier best tunes, is amazing.

  • THEY WERE GREAT!!! I HOPE TO GOD THAT THEY START A TOUR TOGETHER!

  • Nice of everyone else to warm up for the Pink Floyd reunion gig!!!

  • yyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah, at last, the best!!

  • simply amazing

  • I love this song so much.
