  • Ohhh...he dropped it.

  • I'm thinking of getting an eclectus parrot but it will not be a female, they're something to deal with.

  • What is it with Ekkies and pens? My 3 year old male would trade any of his expensive parrot toys for a cheap biro in a minute. I just have to make sure that once he's reached a certain level of pen destruction I take away the middle bit - I don't think a beak full of ink would improve his good looks! Oh, and it can be a bit annoying when I actually need to write something down as I can never find a pen...lol

  • Poor guy! lol He drops the last pen over the edge really fast and looks at her all innocent. "what pen?"

  • she's feisty.

  • that female seems nasty...u can see she tries to bite her own and the male when they try to take the pen..im not really into the female eclectus personalty...thats y i got a male

  • There actually Great pets to, the females. Female animals will always have more of an attitude. not just eclectus females.

    =D

  • haha that's too cute.

  • I LOVE the way he looks at his foot after she takes the pen away as if in disbelief, "she did it again!" It could be my two. Bossy female, green guy that puts up with it and tries to get in some fun sometimes, too.

  • Very typical ekkie behavior, females are always bossy and take things from the males. Are yours an unrelated pair or siblings? I breed SI and Vos.

  • She's the boss!!!!!

  • no birdy won lloll

  • I have a female eclectus and she bites too hard so my dad takes care of her

  • I have a female Ekkie and I know how they think everything is theirs. I love this movie it shows just how bossy they really are. Maddie

  • Ekkies are such gorgeous birds! And I've never met a male ekkie who wasn't laid back and gentle, I dream of having one someday.

  • I have met two male eclectus parrots who were both biters (one still is, one died). But they can be very good pets. I have a female and handfed her. Always played gently with her but when they mature they will still bite you during breeding season. You just have to accept that if you have a pet parrot it is very likely you will get bit sooner or later.

  • I'm aware of that :) I've had parrots for most of my life.

  • Good on ya then. I LOVE my birds. And help take care of some in a sanctuary, some of whom seem to be quite insane and would just love to rip my arm off even though I have never hurt them. But with some of them I suppose someone has hurt them so they just lash out.

  • That's the gentlest fight I've ever seen! What a nice boy.

  • This is too cute. Just like a female Eclectus. lOL

  • They're lovely! Please put more.
