well tabs are easy once you understand them, each line represents a string on the guitar, this video it starts on the second line from top. ( B string). each number is the fret you put your finger on and pick. the easiest way to learn is to put your guitar up to the tabs and try that... i dont know if this helped at all but thats the best i can describe it

thanks for the vid. it was a very gud tutorial. im a complete beginner and i can play the song already. I really like the way that u put the tabs together while illustrating on how to play it. it was really helpful. perhaps u can make a simpler avenge sevenfold -dear god song? i found the others are quite hard to follow and ur way and style of teaching with the tabs together suits me best. thanks again and pls consider my request ^_^
