Thank you! so wise Let it begin with me.change yourself and you change the world great philosophy I like it.There's a saying here in Scotland "Look in before you look out" ღஜLove&Peaceஜღ
1) So, whats the real difference between this and Buddhism? The no God thingy?
2) I was thinking of following Taoism to "help" myself and keep my life in balance with the universe but they have rules regarding every aspect of my life like what to eat and how to have sex. I'm scared its more strict then Islam.
3) Can anyone clarify these points for me? Note: I already am a Buddhist. Any other detailed aspects a westerner might skip before jumping into Taoism. I'd like to know the basics.
@aporlarepublica Look at the Wudang kungfu, always overcome hard attack with flexibility. In Taoism, when you are under attacked, it is legitimate to defend yourself, that's why all the taoist kungfu like Wudang Pai and Tai Ji are all about. But at the end of the day, you should forgive yourself and forgive your enemy, i think all the great religions in the world are teaching this very same principle.
