There is a Town of Mamaroneck Meeting at 7:30 this Monday (Valentine's Day) on Pleasant Avenue. The owner of the Paddlewheel Boar is trying to get permission to dock the boat in Mamaroneck Harbor for use as a Jazz Club.
The off camera announcer for this new"Freedomland USA"documentary..which helps celebrate the park's 50th anniversary this year..is former Westchester,N.Y radio host/Mr.Bob Mangels.
I got this dvd-best information on Freedomland, with the real story of the park. Great interviews, and disproves the Worlds Fair as the reason for it's closing. Would highly recomend this to any Freedomland fan or history buff.
I hope that the "Paddlewheel"Showboat is now in Mamaroneck,New York and it is a successful jazz club.
