Target is also a discount retailer and sets their prices competitively with Wall-Mart(And other discount retailers). As to a war? I think the Wall-Mart soldiers would be harder and tougher, but no will left to fight, so Target Victory by forfeit.

Wal Mart is destroying the economy. Buy buying in bulk they can sell their products cheaper than small retailers. Then those small retailers go out of bisnuiess and Wal Mart gets 100's of millions of dollar which most of the money goes to the big cats at the top

By about 2 to 3 cents. I would rather go to Target and not wait in line for 20 minutes unlike Walmart where you will wait forever to checkout b/c (a) most of their staff barely made it out of high school or (b) because they barley can speak or read English. My time is worth the 2 to 3 cents more when I shop at Target.
