    Bicep peak, meaning when you flex your arm your biceps look big and round.

  • sorry this may sound stupid but what is the difference between "sets" and "reps" thanks

  • Each time you lift the weight up and down it's considered a "rep" which is short for repetition. A "set" is a series of reps. So if you lifted a weight 10 times, you did 1 set of 10 reps. If you did it again, it would be 2 sets of 10 reps. etc...

  • @lokrenzo you will definitely see a weight increase take place, as for size, it's hard to tell unless you take pictures, as anatomically speaking, you don't notice yourself "getting bigger"

  • This is a good superset.  I am actually a big fan of this one. I use the vastmuscle (.com) workouts and have gotten similar results. I could not be happier

  • Seriously Lee, I lost like 50 pound of fat over the last year and am actually gaining some muscle, I don't think that there was anything more motivating than recieving those little emails with your tips. I don't think there is anyone in the industry that give as much as you for free, you are suggesting some books and stuff, but you are still giving full emails of your own, anyway, I felt like I owed you a thanks, cause you've been part of it, so thank you!

  • She looks like she is rotating her shoulders too much. Its not as much a problem at this weight, but when you go heavy you can tear your rotator cuff.

  • Sure, you can do them any way you like. There are no hard set rules here.

    I am just starting out with bicep curls and I am doing 25 pounds. I was wondering, do biceps usually take a long time to develop or will I notice a change pretty soon?

  • Hey Lee, Do you set out a certain day for shoulders? or do you combine them with your chest workout?

  • Im not sure what Lee does but if I'd have to guess he probably keeps shoulders seperate from chest, and anything else. Shoulder workout days usually consist of a good 4-5 different exercises so they are tough and take a good chunk of time.

  • I'll do both variations. It really depends on the workout routine I'm following at the time. I personally change my workouts around every 4-6 weeks.

  • This is not a superset. In a superset, you work antagonistic muscles groups like chest/back, bicep/triceps etc. An example of a superset would be to do barbell curls followed by french presses or vice versa.

  • Actually you can do them both ways. A superset is simply doing 2 exercsies back to back with little rest in between.

  • That's right, you can technically superset ANY two exercises, but some work better than others.
