That is a quite a bend the air takes getting to the turbine. That would be enough to choke an EDF I would imagine. Very interesting.

Holy COW tim, do you live in a hangar? A tent at the worlds biggest model airport? Where on earth do you keep something that big, and fragile? I think the wife would file for divorce if something like that ever arrived... Looks incredible, but please do show us the build in detail too, jets are somewhat a mystery. Good luck with it :-)

How much of it was options? The thrust tube, cockpit for sure you said it was, how about the pre-hinging and other stuff done for you?

What size Jetcat turbine did you get? Love this plane. Make a build video too. Have you flown a gas turbine before? Someday I would like to fly one. I love the sound if a gas turbine. Do a video testing your engine before you install it. Have fun with your new model.

Great question: most likely a jetcat 120 not yet currently training for it with guys at the field who have turbines. The new Jet Cats claims to have no lag time on thottle or I should say they have shorten the time. I will do that video for you. Thanks for your support comments and kind words Tim

all I got to say is WOW ..... and that I do wonder if you realize that once you fly this stunning model, due to it's size and the way it'll obviously be an amazing model to fly, that it will totally RUIN you when it comes to flying the smaller foamies and parkflyers!! (LOL) ;)

@TinkerManRC ...Time will tell, I said the very same thing when I first got my 50 nitro heli, in that I'd fly the 450 electric still .... but EVERY time I looked at the 450, I always grabbed the big nitro ..... so much so I sold the 450 as it was just not worth keeping around. That said, your new jet will pose a bit more of a logistical issue for 'a quick' flight re set-up etc. All the best with her Tim, stunning model! Graham.
