Actually no they didn't, the song was based off of the real Romeo & Juliet, because in the story Mercutio actually does say "pretty piece of flesh" and the song was based off of that, not the movie. The song was made before the movie. (Don't take me wrong, I'm just getting out information, I'm not trying to be mean or anything, I'm sorry if I come off that way)
