Ok i have a question......i played ff11 for a couple of months in 2009. I stopped because it was too time demanding. I enjoyed the game, but ithe way i viewed the game was this. U have ff11, social life and work. Something had to give. U can only have two. And thats it. Everyone i spoke to who has played mmorpg agrees. Something has to give. In this case it was ff-11. Is thi more casual friendly?
Thinking about picking this game up. How long does it take to reach level 50? Is the time comparable to WoW? Shorter, longer? Been playing WoW for years and want something different but mostly interested in end-game content. Thanks!
@scooter540360 I didn't play WoW so I cannot really say. They removed the system that was holding the process of leveling back. And I'm not sure about the end game content yet.
@scooter540360 um there is 2 lvl caps. you will hit lvl 50 with your class before you hit 50 overall. this game isnt about hitting cap asap its about having fun and playing it how you want to play it. whats great is that you can actuly lvl up yourself overall by doing profs keep in mind you only get stat points when you overall lvl. you gain abilities by lvling the decipline oh and a neat thing is you can use other decipline moves like a heal spell even though your a murauder
@scooter540360 Wait until FFXIV's 2.0 patch. It's pretty fun now though, not sure if you picked it up yet. You can get to Rank50 extremely fast if you know a Lv50 who can power level you. If you both are patient, it could take a week to get your first job to 50. I've played WoW for a few years, but I can't really compare them.I haven't done anything end game yet, but from what I've been told is the endgame isn't there yet.Everyone's keeping their fingers crossed for FFXIV 2.0.
