@seigeengine you're right actually now that I think about it, I do have fears. What I meant by that is I don't fear death which in turn makes it easier for me to face any fear head on compared to the normal person. Fear is 100% natural, facing a fear is the only way to defeat it. They had fears that they conquered but they were very unsure with how to deal with it.

On a side note don't forget man vs wild is scripted (they scout out everything before they go in and most likely set a course)

@BobThantos Of course it is. There is a lot of danger involved in what they do, but they're not as ignorant as to whats ahead, or as isolated as they pretend they are.

and you have to consider that these guys were confronted by something they didnt know how to deal with. They were afraid, in a place far different from what they're used to, and they hadn't the experience to draw on to q2w3adapt to the situation.

Bear is an elite leader and hero. Bringing the fans with him and seeing their tiredness and fear really puts into perspective how well he does what he does and how easy he makes it look by himself. 95% of guys wouldn't last a single day in conditions like that and a lot of them would lose to fear and get killed due to lack of respect of the danger of the environment. It's mostly mental, that's where he's also unique, keeping calm and jolly in situations that would mess most people up..
