  • Meanwhile the sustainability movement will continue to grow and become mainstream and leave the most blind behind.

  • Guy Dauncey is inspiring. The AGW climate denier movement is becoming more shrill as their lies are exposed and their false logic falls away. Soon they will reach a frenzy before they finally start to die out. I'm guessing about another 5-10 years and AGW will become self-evident to all but the most blind.

  • We need to reduce population immediately. I fully support torturing and executing any non-vegan religionists and any non-vegan Republicrats and Demopublicans here in the US, as well as non-vegan religionists abroad. In the US, any who had the chance (e.g. not prisoners) who could have voted for Ralph Nader but didn't should be exterminated first.

99.99% of people are subhuman garbage and will not change unless forced to with this level of severity.

  • I'm vegan, but what you're saying is not right!

  • Different organisms will have different opinions about that.

  • If government won't help people with socialism and pay them not to torture and murder animals and not to poison the environment, then big government has no right to punish people if they revolt against corporate welfare and reverse socialism by taking over multimillion$ -CEOs and force them to give back all the corporate welfare they have received.

  • The renewable energy industries of Europe are subsidized with billions of tax money every year. This is planned economy of the worst kind. I give an example: As soon as solar energy is cost-effective, it will be made mainly in Asia, where most of the semiconductor industries reside. And till then Europe will have wasted a lot of money, thanks to their retarded Green parties and their ingenious socialists.

  • "We don't need more people on planet earth." -- That understatement is the only mention he makes of core problem. The most effective, least expensive way to reduce anthropogenic pollution and to slow the depletion rate of non-renewable resources, is never discussed. Reducing the world population by 1 billion by 2050, would have more positive effect than all 101 solutions combined. Just 50 years ago the pop was less than half what it is today; it was 1 billion when T. Malthus warned us.

  • BRAVO! I am sick of politically correct conservatives who oppose anyone discussing mandatory castrations for most men, which I fully support and have done so since 1980.

  • @duck24x

"Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned / Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned."

  • bull shit!!! there is no proof at all that humans are causing this the earth has always been changing through out history and also the solar rays from the sun have been more in the last 20 years this is a money making scam do you no how many jobs are established already cause of these lies

  • This view is correct I believe.

  • its all cause and effect...tell us to turn lights off or pay to recycle things is just takin care of the effects...when the goverment deal with the cause we wont have the effects to deal with...but thats gonna cost these big companies, so fuck it,tell us to do it.....

  • What do you think of a government party enforcing sustainability on the people of Britain? Everyone would have a turbine, solar panels and a greenhouse to grow local food. People would also cycle to work or use public transport. This could be brought about by starting off with the Party supporters taking public transport or cycling then gradually, more and more people would start to do it. Oh, and every hous should have a green leafy or a white roof.

  • Poverty is caused by greedy control of profits and opportunities of elitist without heart for the uneducated and unaware poor. That a billion dollars could employ 50,000 persons at 20,000 each paid $10./hr to work 2000 manhours fulltime job yearly.Sad not as greedy few less than 1000 persons want to be paid $1,000,000 each plus bonuses for work.Takes 1000's build a life not a few greedy few no shame. Create new works could clean all water, soil and air sources together 1000 to 10000 days.

  • great clip my friends, very motivating. i'm studying toward my 2nd BSc and will specialize in photovoltaics...hope to one day make a contribution...

anyways just really had to mention a fantasctically funny part in the clip @23:14 when the gentleman says 10 Gollars a Gallon, damn that was entertaining!!!

    peace.

  • They thing my sceince teached showed me to help prove/ understand globalwarming.

2 cups breath into one with co2/breath cover with plastic. Leave it alone for a minute then put a lamp over both cups and inserve a temp gague into both after 10 mins the one you breathinto has a higher temp. try it and see

  • The last statement of the clip is perhaps the most important. Do not listen to what the oil, gas and coal industries are telling us, do not listen to what the nuclear industry is telling us. The solutions are here and we must take action to curb our carbon footprints collectively. Decentralizing the energy grid is key to reversing this self-defeating trend.

  • These guys just want to insult people who disagree with them. Calling people who disagree with you a tobacco scientist is the adult version of sticking your fingers in your ears and screaming "La la la la I can't hear you!"

Check out Bob Carter and his video. Search the title below here on Youtube.

Bob Carter Lecture - Global Warming Fraud Part

  • The world has been cooling from 2005. GW was PR from nuclear power, put about by stooges, as here!

  • 'climate change' is from the PR peopel at nuyclear power. Man lives with the weather, he does not make it.

  • Watch The Truth About Global Warming.

I know we humans are bad. We produce so much CO2. The OCEANS cause over 90% of all CO2. Volcanoes produce more CO2 than all industry & vehicles combined. The most abundant green- house gas is WATER VAPOR. CO2 accounts for less than 5%.

It's about a GLOBAL COAL TAX! TPTB spend $700,000 a mo. on this. Like he said, it's about POPULATION CONTROL & ultimately about EUGENICS =) The planet's been LOTS warmer without vehicles industry, & LOTS LESS people.

  • It's not about warmer but having more greenhouse gases than the planetary systems can absorb. The last time we had almost this much CO2 in the atmosphere, these ecosystems were overloaded and failed, causing the End-Permian extinction (dieoff of thousands of species). We can reduce our populations or earth can do it for us like last time.

  • So Global WARMING isn't about warmer? Did you watch the video, I suggest? What you speak of is covered very well by scientists in their respective RELATED fields. Do you realize that this is at best a theory, both the dying off of species & GW? Do you realize that Earth's populations WILL NEVER be "reduced?" Like I've always said & you did too, this is ultimately about EUGENICS. WATER VAPOR makes up almost 95% of greenhouse gases. CO2's less than 5% of GH gases; an infintesimal amt of ALL gases.

  • I should've said warming is one symptom among many: global climate change is about higher chaos in the system, more extreme patterns. Regardless of theories, what is the evidence? Increased chaos (and average temperatures). Species die-off is arguably primarily due to our fragmenting & destroying their habitat.

  • @jdtrickster4 not to mention that plant life kinda lives off the CO2 we exhale >.>

  • Its not about advertising the problems, and I agree 100% of what this man said. What he is saying is that it would be more benifitial to make a book with solutions. I agree, only one thing, making a book of solutions will accompish as much as making a good with problems, the thing the world needs is a book making AMBITION and motivation TO APPLY THE SOLUTIONS

  • good video. everyone should be aware.

    go green.

    Canada kicks ass

  • Man couldn't make the weather ifhe tried - he lives with it! Climate change is PR by nuclear power!

  • Good presentation... there is a lot of good information about peak oil in YouTube. See also Amory Lovins - for example, his new TED presentation. Guy Dauncey makes a number of good points. One of the most important: use the energy we still have now with oil and natural gas, to launch the renewable age. Do NOT wait until there is a desparate lack of energy and fuel.

  • The guy has no idea what is going on! Do proper homework! Man is not the cause of global warming. Look to the stars. Whatch space and take note of the planet Nibiru.

  • You are completely mad!!!! If you are not totally mentally impaired, wake up and get informed by reading some of the millions of scientific articles and research which have been published about the fact that climate change is really happening and that we are destroying our planet!! Come to your senses if you want your (future) children to have breathable air and to be able to still have a good life in some way!!!

  • ....As sobering as the IPCC report is, scientists of note are saying that the prognosis is actually significantly worse -- that the report does not even take into consideration the most recent and most troubling findings (such as this summer's record breaking arctic melt).---Climate Change Coalition

  • The U.N. IPCC has issued its grimmest report to date. It states unequivocally that climate change is upon us, the consequences will be serious no matter what, and to avoid calamities of an almost unimaginable scale, the world community must take draconian measures to reduce greenhouse gasses: all increases in emissions must stop within seven years, to be followed by a rigid course of sharp reductions...--Climate Change Coalition.

  • Global Warming is not science or true! It is free PR for the nuclear industry - which kills millions.

  • We are against nuclear power also. However, the IPCC report, based on the observations of thousands of scientists the world over, and vetted by many countries indicates it is so. We observe it here: reduced snow pack in the Sierra, our summers being 2-4 weeks longer--pretty tough for the nuclear industry to pull that one off. Not to mention the arctic ice melt last summer.

  • I think he has some very positive and inovative solutions to the worlds problems but he seems to be overlooking the desparity of the situation. If we dont get these sustainable solutions in place and soon there will be no one around in one thousand years to be saying how we got over the carbon hump. If we dont act soon we will begin to tap other sorces of oil that are even more devistating to the environment and to climate change like tar sands.

  • Greetings Fellow Youtubers!

Please check out my short video: This Is The Earth On Carbon -- A climate Change Demonstration...

  • I respect people like this, you look at this guy then you look at bush......

  • 104th solution:

Collect CO2 and use it as an insolation product: (it absorbs heat right)could be used in houses, jackets, windows, beverages (did I say beverages: that's why you have to keep them in the fridge ). If .03 of a percent is going to heat the planet to doom then one must think that near 100% (like in your half drunk coke bottle) must be just seriously dangerous.....(lost for words)

Get your CO2 extractors now: and hunt that CO2, and save this here planet.

  • New age hippie?? I don't care, but he does have some good points - he also thinks way outside the box, but the overall message is clear. I hope I find his book in a car boot sale or something. We need more positive (do-ers) than scare mongerers to sort our mess out!!!

  • You can also read more of Guy Dauncey's ideas on his website at earthfuture dot com. What's encouraging is that he's showing that ALL the technologies exist NOW to turn to a solar energy-based world.

  • 103rd solution!!!!!

Never mind carbon trading : all global warmers (Scientist's, media and the like) should instead trade their passports and go live in the poorest country you can think of -- for example Darfur.

This solution should fix two problems at once.

  • I have the 102nd solution!!! STOP BREATHING!

  • Though your answer is tongue-in-cheek (I hope), certainly reducing population has to be part of the solution. Just would rather have it be voluntary than through famine, war, etc.

  • Outstandingly precise analysis-- thrilling and realistic solutions. Guy Dauncey is simply amazing!!Thank you so much.

But how are we going to do to make people change their everyday habits and adopt these solutions? I don't think the energy revolution will happen only with good will. I think governments have to impose taxes that will make sustainable products more competitive on the market, to get the new sustainable economy going.

  • he's put alot of it together. very innovative.

let's see if people will change thier lives.

  • Guy Dauncy is a true visionary. Please take what he says to heart.

  • very inspiring. i'm getting the book out of the library. thank you!

  • We have to go solar , wind get electric cars and think effeciently. I agree with this guy we are at the begining of a bright future. He has no time for dispair !
