    Thanks in advance!

  • @Styhn um...something about I, you, and last night. lol I'm a beginner

  • @Styhn Im not very good either but I'm pretty sure hoshi means star,so since KittyLuvYou said they read something about I,you, and last night. It might say something about seeing stars last night. Thats just my guess. Hope it helps a bit (:

  • @KagoTheKitty

    Arigatou gozaimasu!

  • Comment removed

  • @Styhn I believe this means "I really would like to see you again (on your last night<possibly) soon/meet you soon ...

I cannot translate without the full context of what the words mean... However I believe my translation is close

(This may be incorrect but I am 70% sure that it is close)

  • @Styhn hi, I don't know if someone has already replied, but it means: "I was with you/I met you last night and I'd love to see you again soon." :)

  • hello ur vlogs r funny keep up the good work....Hajime :^}0

  • hmmm.... I see.... as for younger japanese people they see it as outdated jokes, or rather lame excuses for a bad joke.

  • @Ovidius89 isn't はじめの Hajinuno?

  • @SergioSource ha ji me no

  • This is something really funny about Japanese : it's loaded with puns

I started to learn this by reading はじめの一歩 (Hajime no Ippo) where Manabu Itagaki's dad makes them all the time. Awesome !

  • shou(ginger) ga haiiteiru juusu ga aru desu ka? shou ga nai ne (means no ginger, or can't help it)..

    Also 梅田梅だ夢だ。

    Which means:

Umeda (a place in Osaka) is a plum (ume da) is a dream (yume da).

  • my grandma slaps me when i tell an hoyagigyage

  • How do u say "japanese" in japanese language?

  • @akaalawadhi "nihongo" or something to that extent consult your neighborhood Japanese guy for more information ;D

  • @xXxTraciixXx thanx mate ^_^

  • Comment removed

  • @akaalawadhi It's Nihongo. Nihongo-jin is Japanese person. The "i" takes the long "e" sound.

  • @painterofemotions1 hey, actually japanese person = nihonjin (japan person). nihongo-jin would be something like "japanese language person."

  • @DrazharX Ah! You're right. Thank you for the correction.

  • gusu=ugly girl

    thats her

  • @BLUEBOY1341 no, it's busu.

  • ahahaha, so funny!

  • しょうがないね XD

  • haha, awesome!!

  • Lolz

  • 生姜ないね。

    おやじギャグ <3

  • how do you say "shut up" in japanese? hehehe

  • @miulfelle ursesai!

  • @miulfelle Damare...

  • @miulfelle Actually normal Japanese people use more indirect methods with things like that. Even Remi in the end of this video, while doing an overboard act, still uses a very Japanese method of expressing "please shut up". A compact, English-type way of saying that in two words is normally only said in Japanese cartoons by characters with wild hair colors.

  • no ill learn korean more better

  • じゃあ、しょうがないね

  • Rofl! Ken, you make me embarassed for you!!!

  • The shou-ga-nai pun I figured out on my own. But Ive never heard a Japanese person say it.

Hands down the best pun is 'Oman National University' translated in to Japanese, you know, as in Oman the country. For anyone who has a good grip of the Japanese language, 'oman kokusai daigaku' can either sound like a legitimate int'l university or 'o-manko kusai daigaku', a university for stinky pussies. Japanese never find the pun funny though. 'Pussy' is like the most vulgar word in their language.

  • @Solnobori85

Sorry for the half a year late post, but wouldnt that be Oman International University? Because national would translate 国民(kokumin)?

But yeah, quite few japanese would laugh at something that has pussy in it!

You see, they think they are cute :)笑

  • this is sooo awesome!!! sorry for you guys who cant understand

  • What is this movie trying to prove!? That Japanese people laugh funny or that a western guy is speaking bad Japanese!?

  • @SMGJohn dude, he's not speaking bad Japanese, and he's not Western. He was adopted and has always lived in Japan. Don't judge a book by its cover.

  • @lakesidelovin07.. actually he is western from California EUA, his real name is Davisd Ury, he is an actor(you can see him in shot'em up movie) and he learned Japanese. "Ken Tanaka" is just another character he does like a hobby...

  • this guys mstry pua king of japan

  • Damn she's hot

  • why is the lady at the juice bar walking backwards at 0:05??

  • ありがとうございます、田中さん。田中さんのビデオはいつものように気分が良くなった。すごくたのしいんです。

  • I've just gotten home after 2 years in Gunma, and these videos are rediculously funny.

  • Love the video!!

  • that is just so funny! the expressions on peoples face when you say that stuff LOL

  • Oh god that first one... I was cringing in embarrassment so bad xD

  • I get the sense this is one of those facepalm inducing puns for them

Hankyu Very Much! *facepalm* Baka Gaijin [inaudible grumbling]

  • I get the thank you one, but I didn't understand the 1st one @ all. Ginger in juice??? ?_?

  • @narutorulestheworld1

Well, he says "juusu wa shoga ga haiteru no ga arimasu ka?" So he asks if there is any 'shoga' (ginger), but there isn't.

So he replies with a pun, "Ja shoga nai ne." Meanin there is "no ginger".

  • "shou ga nai" is a common expression when you accept that you cannot change the situation anyway ("damn it" or equivalent, but more softer) and could be appropriate in this situation.

The funny part is that it also translates to "there is no ginger, isn't it?".

  • @Munku81 Oh oops. Left the double meaning part out. xD

  • lol

     hankyou very muchi.

  • thx ---> hhx ? xD

    thank u ---> hank u XD

  • Ken and Remi rock. I don't care what anyone says. Hankyu bely mooch !

  • remis gorgeous id learn japanesse and anything else fer her, but wats with kens accent? is it a joke? did he live in japan his whole life? why the accent on a seemingly wht guy?

  • Who knows on the internet. He seems to be from Japan though. I think he's making his accent thicker for comedic appeal.

  • @adzug yes his birth parents are american, but he Grew up in japan because he was an adopted child, and now he is looking for his real parents, that's why his user name is "helpmefindparents"

    :D

  • ok thanks i really dint kno. it was confusing. i have a friend from new jersey who moved to wales and now talks with a accent thats kinda fake so ya never kno

  • I love how she says "samuuui!"

  • shoga nai XD

Hankyu very much. Ha ha ha. I'd do that all the time if I lived there.

  • i know the "ikura wa ikura desu ka?" from my japanese teacher... how much is i think this sushi/fish thing with salmon and egg called ikura... it seems like its asking, is ikura, ikura? and the joke is that the store clerk says "mochiron!" which means of course... when the real question is how much is ikura?

  • the first pun made me laugh sooo hard xD WHAHA

  • Remy is the bomb!

  • Which state in America has the prettiest smile?
