I always here the voice that is wispering say something like "(the end is coming) be running up that hill" or something. I'm not sure about the part of "the end" but I do hear "is coming, be running up that hill". Just saying

@TheStickynoodle Well since I never even heard of this song until Placebo did it, that's one good reason for this version. Number two, this is the best version of this song, period. The emotion, the eerie feeling, it's perfection. I don't know the "meaning" but it doesn't matter. Music is about taking things to mean what you want them to mean for you. I know what this means to me, and Placebo tells that story for me.
