I'd laso recommend to the man, i book written my Mantak Chia, Taoist secrets of love, Cultivating male sexual energy. based on how much vitality there is in the male semen, and how to retain and cultivate it's energy and experience much more potent deeply connecting orgasms without losing the fluid, helpful to your relationship, it's an amazing book and changed my life, gave me more life force i believe then any vitamin has retaining my semen and learning to make love without the loss of it
What I like about Spiritual Midwifery is they had a very high success rate with home birth. The women often had supportive friends round them (although obviously not compulsary) creating a good atmosphere with laughing etc.Its good to remember that pain hormones and pleasure hormones cannot exist at the same time,so focussing on all parts of the body being relaxed as possible is a good thing. Its wonderful to know that pain free childbirth is definitely achievable.
Congratulations!!! When is your baby due? Matthew how do feel about going to be a dad? I just told my husband that I would like to deliver our baby at home in future. With the prenatal vitamins in the past I had terrible abdominal pain. I wouldn't take any vitamins cause those are all preserved with chemicals. My sister was born at home and she is the healthiest in the family. Hospitals are just money making machines these days. My mother never had taken any vitamins...
Also, someone mentioned that you should not take folic acid, but I really believe that is wrong. The first thing they tell you is that you should have folic acid, in fact, you should have it before you even get pregnant. It is suggested that ALL women of child bearing age take folic acid (400-800 mg) just IN CASE they get pregnant. It's that important. Maybe there is another school of thought on this, but I'd check carefully. I've never heard any different....anywhere.
@LcognoscenteL The website is called birthintobeing com and there is an image on our video of a woman holding a baby by the feet. If you click on that, it will take you to a clip of the movie.
Congratulations. I hope all goes really well with the pregnancy and birth.
I HIGHLY suggest URGENTLY reading the book "Could it be B12?" by Pacholk & Stuart.
A lack of B12 can be very detrimental to a foetus. The best source of oral B12 is Methylcobalamin lozenges that dissolve under the tongue. Jarrow Formulas (on Amazon) sell "Methyl B-12 5000 mcg." They do a 1000mcg too. You need high daily Methytl-B12 dose to rectify deficiency. Or have Methy or hydroxo B12 injections.
Well, I don't know that many "parent-aged" vegans, so my suggestions can only be from people that are lecturing others on diet choices in internet and various real life lectures: Jinjee, Ka sundace, Shazzie, Kate Magic all have raw children...
@Vikikute Hi Vikikute, thanks for your recommendations. Shazzie's daughter isn't vegan. She eats eggs and Raw Milk. We will get in touch with Jinjee & Ka Sundance & Kate Magic and see what they say.
@BeYourPotential Oh, I see :) Haven't been too much into details about their kids diets (though I'm pretty sure at least Jinjee's kids are really raw vegan) and with all the stuff Shazzie says about supplements for kids, I assumed she doesn't use animal products that's why supplements are needed... Anyways, I asked a couple of "real life" vegans if they feel like it to contact you and tell you their experiences, so hopefully someone will come forward with that :)
Mathew, what is that bone you mentioned at the base of the skull, how can you tell if it is seated correctly, and if not how do you get it back in? Also, what if you leave it 'as-is'. Very interesting...
Hi Mathew and Victoria, for vegan raised children you might want to look at Dr. and Mrs. Graham's daughter Faychesca and also Anne Osborn's children. Anne's moniker is fruitbatanne. Also, you probably have thought of this, but just in case there are last minute complications with the delivery, you may wish to have an alternate plan already made up and put into place with a midwife and/or the local hospital since time will be of essence then. Good luck and God bless. You both are a great
Why don't you get the prenatel pills "Baby and Me" from Angela Stokes-Monarch? That is what she took to make sure Oria had all the nutrients she needed. ?
Hi I glad I found your videos again. last time I was watching your we on a water fast. I am tiring to get pregnant this year . I am trying to detox first to be as healthy as poss. would you recommended a water fast. I live in Spain so I to am interested in the legal side to home pregnancy. I have subscribed so i will be watching all way.:)
My husband and I are trying to find a healthy compromise for feeding our son. He eats a Standard American Diet consisting of meats and other animal products and I am a vegan. I currently breastfeed and feed my son organic fruits and veg. He is 8 mos old and daddy wants him to have meats and cheeses and all that stuff but I dont. So it is a good thing that you both are on the same page. If I could make the decision myself I would raise my son as a vegan so go for it.
@pachamama2407 Hi Pachamama, we are following Angela Stokes videos. We are so grateful to learn from her experiences. I really enjoy watching their channel. Toria x
I think you can definitely find a midwife that you'd be comfortable with. I'd be nervous not having someone who has studied what is safe for the baby and signs of 'real' distress and how to intervene. Just something to keep in mind, that it actually might be nice to have that kind of support - and there is great support out there.
yeah id never have a hospital birth lol... such a weird fake idea and atmosphere lol... mad conditioning going on with that idea.
Anastasias book led me to the idea that my favorite birth would be out in nature on a beautifull sunny warm day amidst the beautiful arau and energy of all of nature, the nurturing of it all. what a way and scenary to greet the child coming into the outside world. wishing u 3 souls all the best on ur journey here. namaste <3
@diliprajkumar Hi Dilip, no we didn't say that! We are Vegan and doing a series of videos on my various thoughts during pregnancy. Todays video was about Home Birth Vs Hospital Birthing. Toria
@BirthLeTara Hi Tara, please can you explain this further. What is the difference between Folate and Folic Acid? I know there is folate in Broccoli and Leafy green veg such as spinach. Matthew makes us plenty of green juices and smoothies, so I think we get folate in our diet. But I would be interested to learn more. I bought the tablets for the B12. Thanks Toria x
@rawnutritiontips Matthew and I have very different body types. It has to be 30 Degrees Celcius before I start stripping off. :-) I haven't seen the Business of being born, but will out it on my list. Thanks. x Toria
@BeYourPotential No worries, my boyfriend and I are the same way. I'm always stealing his heat. ;-) Yeah I watched that documentary a couple of weeks ago and I found it very fascinating. It deals with some of the same things you talked about in the other film - midwifery, home births vs hospital births, and how the hospitals profit big time in the process of birth.
