The face is a 2 piece prosthetic (glued to my face). The chin is a separate piece so I can talk, and eat quit easily.

Some of the photos in this video show the costume with a latex mask I quickly made to see how it would all look, but the actual night I got glued in.

Very green, but I was at a nighttime outside streetfair where the colors would look very dark anyway, so to compensate, I went vibrant green.

That was an awesome job on that stuff, but why did you make it so green? I'm pretty sure the one in the movies is more "squid" colored, or like a pinkish-brown.

The very first sketch Disney released of Davy Jones was a very comicbook styled drawing, and I really liked it...so went for that (instead of the final look from the movie). Plus, the Halloween street fair I attend is outside and the greenish colors read better in the dark. Thanks for comments and noticing..

Thanks for the compliment. If I hadn't gone into performing (musical theatre mostly) I would love to have been a make-up artist. I've studied since childhood, and did some prof. work when I was living in Ohio (my home town). Here in LA, I just like to showoff my talents on Halloween night, though I have done some mask making for theatre companies recenlty. Cheers.
