Andrew is, in my opinion, one of the most underrated musicians out there. he is immensely talented and a select group appreciate it. he;s 100X better than the junk on the radio. he has talent. and more important. guts. to bring such a classic instrument into the mainstream. a few people can do that

I can understand why he doesn't want to play it any more if he's in another relationship and perhaps wants to just move away from that part of his life hence leaving the music behind. This song gives me shivers and tears any time I listen, any time, anywhere. He's just amazing. There's something about the piano part that is simple yet so effective because then the vocal part soars over it and captures everyone who is lucky enough to watch it and hear what love was really about in this song.

A song captures a moment in time. Performing it now would not mean that he hasn't moved on from his first love or be disrespectful to his current wife. no tsavolde thats wrong, soco broke up because they were tired of touring so he started recordgin everything in transit as a personal thing but then they decided to release it under the name jacks mannequin but the day they finished he found out he has leukima then he recovered and wrote the glass passenger which was recently realeased
he had to quit Something Corporate because of Leukemia.. and then fortunately he was cured.. but he couldn't go back to SoCo. So he founded a new band called Jacks Mannequin. You gotta understand it's a Something Corporate Song, not a Jacks Mannequin one.. I think he got enough personal reasons not to mix up these bands.. gotta understand & accept that =)

I hate to break it to you but starting and playing in a band is only about the fans if you're artists like Brittney Spears which is apparently what you're looking for so go listen to this.
No one is arguing that it isn't a beautiful song, it is. If it bothers you that he no longer plays it take that up with him; I'm not the one refusing to play it. The only idea I've pushed is that of understanding. If you understand being in love, writing a song wrapped around it, then moving on from it, then it should be understandable. Bottom line, its a great song but Andrew won't sing it for personal reasons. Either accept and understand or cry and be selfish.
This song is obviously packed full of emotion.. i can definatly understand why he wouldnt play it. for a while the counting crows wouldn't play "Round here"... thats simply artist preference... btw artists take a huge risk in not playing theyre big songs at concerts... it presents the possibility of disappointing fans...

It's a Something Corporate song.
He's said at shows and gone on record saying he won't play the song because it's a song he'll only ever play with Something Corporate.
It's not because he got married or any other reason.
There are songs he will only play with SoCo because they aren't JM's style of songs.
That's the whole reason he started JM because he wrote a few songs that he knew were not for SoCo.

I hope he plays that during the reunion tour. I'm going to be there for sure. He didn't tell me the exact dates though because I only talked with him for a couple minutes and I had a hell of a lot to say, lol.

yeah he avoids the song completely. he refuses to play it. it's probably cause the song is about his ex-girlfriend and he is currently with a different girl so maybe he is just respecting his current girlfriend by not playing it..... maybe??

It's as I said before it's under that file of SoCo songs he won't play with JM.
He played it even after he wasn't with her and he married but only with SoCo.

He doesn't play it because if he played it for one audience, he'd have to play it for all of them. He isn't against playing it. It's just that he doesn't want the song to become so huge when it's not even a Jack's Mannequin song.

no tsavolde thats wrong, soco broke up because they were tired of touring so he started recordgin everything in transit as a personal thing but then they decided to release it under the name jacks mannequin but the day they finished he found out he has leukima then he recovered and wrote the glass passenger which was recently realeased

he had to quit Something Corporate because of Leukemia.. and then fortunately he was cured.. but he couldn't go back to SoCo. So he founded a new band called Jacks Mannequin. You gotta understand it's a Something Corporate Song, not a Jacks Mannequin one.. I think he got enough personal reasons not to mix up these bands.. gotta understand & accept that =)

Well firstly, yes, of course you can stop playing a song, he wrote it for gods sake. And second, if you've ever written a song yourself with even half the personal level as Konstantine then you would better understand why he might refuse to play it later on in his life. I'll try my best to "get real" if you try your best to Andrew's circumstances and his right to do as he pleases. Thanks.

Yes you can delete a song especially if you're no longer with the band that plays it.
It's a SoCo song.
He'll only ever play it with SoCo for that reason.
The whole reason he started JM is because he wrote songs that he knew weren't SoCo's style.
I hate to break it to you but starting and playing in a band is only about the fans if you're artists like Brittney Spears which is apparently what you're looking for so go listen to this.

No one is arguing that it isn't a beautiful song, it is. If it bothers you that he no longer plays it take that up with him; I'm not the one refusing to play it. The only idea I've pushed is that of understanding. If you understand being in love, writing a song wrapped around it, then moving on from it, then it should be understandable. Bottom line, its a great song but Andrew won't sing it for personal reasons. Either accept and understand or cry and be selfish.

This song is obviously packed full of emotion.. i can definatly understand why he wouldnt play it. for a while the counting crows wouldn't play "Round here"... thats simply artist preference... btw artists take a huge risk in not playing theyre big songs at concerts... it presents the possibility of disappointing fans...
