I don't see how Berlin is ranked above Rome, no way - Berlin looks like average compared to Roma. Anyways I would have ranked the top 5 in such fashion (if you want to be serious).

On the basis of natural beauty rather, than how many interesting buildings are there for a tourist point of view and how much political influence the country have where it is positioned the following are the top 5 cities in Europe in alphabetical order. Budapest,Paris,Prague,Venice,Vienna. Now you can put these in any order and you can't go wrong. Budapest has the best natural position of all.
Why is Berlin ahead of Frankfurt, Munich and Zurich? Berlin is ugly as sh*t, a very dirty and not a very "German" place as far as I am concerned. If you want to see a very nice, well kept, modern, progressive German city come to Frankfurt am Main ($115.000/capita GDP !) . Munich is not bad either and Zurich in Switzerland definitely deserves to be on the list. But if you are planning a trip to Germany, please do not make the common mistake of choosing Berlin over Frankfurt or Munich!

@tomkingsbridge Fair enough. I have actually not made the trip to Croatia before. I have heard it is quite beautiful (particularly on the coast). A friend told me it was the French Riviera for half the cost. Just out of curiosity, have you reached some of the coastal cities such as Hula, Dubrovnik, or Split? I am American; but I am moving back to Italy in August. Thus I am considering venturing along the Dalmation Coast. If it is worth the travel please let me know.
@tworthsmith well, we didn't go to the seaside, but i've heard Dubrovnik is worth it! i'm planning to go there myself in 1-2 years. i've heard that, if you like to party, going down the dalmatian coast is quite an adventure, and while you're at it you can always visit serbia and albania - it's rather cheap (from italy you can take the ferry to any of these countries, i believe), and why not? if you're like me, going anywhere new is worth the travel... just prioritise :P

Obcokrajowcy na pewno chcą spędzić czas wśród zazdrośników i ludzi, którzy własnych rodaków ściągają na dno :/ To jest po prostu obrzydliwe! "no Warsaw )))" - Oh, My God! It would be better for everybody if you go somewhere and try to learn English! Uważam, że Kraków jest cudownym miastem i w pełni zasługuje na podziw. warszawa jest brzydka i mam prawo to napisac. Napisalem tez, ze kraków jest ladnya to, ze wiekszosc sie ze mna zgadza (patzrac na ilosc lapek w góre) to juz nie moja wina ;)

@dupablada8 Większość się z Tobą zgadza, bo Krakowianie mają obsesję na punkcie własnego miasta. Jest ładne i tyle, ale bez przesady. A co myślisz o Poznaniu? O Wrocławiu? Trójmieście? Co najważniejsze ludzie piszą, iż Warszawa jest beznadziejna i w ogóle najgorszą miejscowością w Polsce, bo są ZAZDROŚNI, że jest stolicą. Prawda boli?

@TheGlobtroterka ja nie jestem z krakowa wiec napewno nie mam obsesji. poprostu widzialem oba miasta i Kraków zwycieza pod kazdym wzgledem. Szczerze mnie to wali co jest stolica bo to o niczym nie swiadczy ;) Np w USA stolica jest waszyngton a nie jest ani najpiekniejszym ani najbardziej ekscytujacym miastem w stanach w Australii podobnie jest z Canberra.
Jestem z trójmiasta i bardzo mi sie podoba, wroclaw tez. O Poznaniu nie mam zdania bo nigdy nie bylem

@MrJack9750 to, ze powiedzialem, ze warszawa jest brzydka to znaczy ze sie czegos wupieram? puknij sie w ten pusty leb. nie nie mam obywatelstwa bo mi ona do niczego nie potrzebne, a do anglii przyejchalem z rodzicami w wieku 14 lat wiec raczej nie moja decyzja.

@tworthsmith i'm not going to say i respect it, but it's your opinion; can't really change that. but i found zagreb a really nice city too, and it doesn't mean it's got a place in the top 10 or 15... with all due respect to the people from zagreb, of course. it's a fantastic city... but, come on, lisbon? it's an all right city (it stinks, though), but nothing compared to the poor, old, Cidade Invicta - Porto. sadly, it's always forgotten... but that's just my opinion, as a Portuense.

@tomkingsbridge Fair enough. I have actually not made the trip to Croatia before. I have heard it is quite beautiful (particularly on the coast). A friend told me it was the French Riviera for half the cost. Just out of curiosity, have you reached some of the coastal cities such as Hula, Dubrovnik, or Split? I am American; but I am moving back to Italy in August. Thus I am considering venturing along the Dalmation Coast. If it is worth the travel please let me know.

@tworthsmith well, we didn't go to the seaside, but i've heard Dubrovnik is worth it! i'm planning to go there myself in 1-2 years. i've heard that, if you like to party, going down the dalmatian coast is quite an adventure, and while you're at it you can always visit serbia and albania - it's rather cheap (from italy you can take the ferry to any of these countries, i believe), and why not? if you're like me, going anywhere new is worth the travel... just prioritise :P
