  • This film is AWESOME. The Polo Grounds days is when the real fans came aboard.

AL Lang stadium is still around in St. Pete but it needs some games, HS, college, spring training anything! its sorta sitting alone.

  • Larry Bearnarth never knew that Y2K turned out to be a dud:He died on Dec.31,1999.

  • The Mets really were the last team to join before the game became the crowded, different game it is today.

    Still good, but different...

The old times of baseball, with cheesy rally songs (what fan DOESN'T love "Meet the Mets?") and pitching as important and team loyalty to the fans (the two were just joined as lovable losers, the Mets so bad they needed SOMEONE to love them and the fans needing SOMEONE to love) and then an epic Series (Miracle Mets... just SOUNDS right!)

    Let's Go Mets!

  • Although I'm a Yankee fan, this film is AWESOME!!

    Mets at the Polo Grounds...PRICELESS!!

It must have been great to see a game at the Polo Grounds. Just a toddler when the PG were demolished in April 1964. All that history and a weird bathtub shaped stadium. Now Shea is history too. Soon my Yankee Stadium will be dust as well. Sad...

  • Great stuff! What happened to the 1965 Mets promotional video???

  • Good find alpine!!! StanTheMan
