yea ur right about that. one thing ive read about is that the grand cherokees have had problems where they idle slow, to which it would cause the vehicle to stall out when u let off the gas. ive had it happen plenty of times with my jeep. now i have the problem of it idleing too fast to where i can idle up a 30 degree slope w/o applying gas pedal. lol. bad for gas consumption.

Seems how you fabbed up your own long arm suspenion ...wouldn't it have been cheaper to build around a set of rockwells rather than building a set of 1-tons up to be beefy enough to take that abuse ...Or did you get a good deal on those axles ,and the parts used to beef them up ?

Rocks' are too heavy for a unibody IMO. My 1tons are purpose built for this Jeep and work flawlessly.
