when i first started windows media center i got a bsod because a video driver wasnt compatable yet. It was pre-installed too! i waited for a new version of the driver and now it works

I had no driver problems with the beta and with RC1 on a "Vista compatible machine" I have drivers that don't work. But, I haven't come across this bug yet.lol
I think a nice linux distro would work great on low end systems like this, or a basic xp.. vista, at it's current stage is just... too much on these

maybe u shuold take it back from where u got it from, so they can fix it or give you a new one. or call hp and theyll fix it cause of warranty

Vista didn't come with this box. I installed it myself - then removed it!

At least You're getting a picture. My whole WMP11 don't work now. I think Vista screws the whole video core.

actually, I am using an HP Vista compatible laptop (new) and a Dell PC workstation. I haven't had a chance to put it on anything else.
