  • So awesome!

  • kick muck

  • nice music guys greetings from Greece

  • 4:34 mmm mm

  • shit, I don't know how but Buckethead brought me here

  • I like these guys driving in a snowstorm, smoking a bowl and floating away.I did not think psycedelic music would have been any good with a steady beat.I hate dance music but OT is an exception.I love the guitar along with the spacy keyboards. Most music that is beat driven is limited and a major bore.

  • Spyro The Dragon! totally reminds me of spyro

  • just discovered this band!!! I love it!

  • This is amazing.

  • ~THUD~

  • Amazing! I listen a lot of psychedelic music, more trance, my uncle took my to ozrics last year, i was totally stunned, and i guess i still am after hearing this :-) eezzeee

  • Super el grupo, el video no es video, la portada está curiosa.

  • How have I never heard of this band?

  • I'm only 1:30 in and I'm irrevocably in love.

  • Ozric Tentacles was cool when I saw them live in Chicago like eighteen years ago, and it sound like they are still going strong now.

  • im a metal head. but this band fucking rocks!!!

  • @rredzone Noah Young, I agree. Thank god DJ posted this on facebook rofl

  • A bit like a mix between Ship of Fools, and Hawkwind...but still their own style..

  • La Pulsante Dinamica Degli Eventi Della Natura. B-)

  • 5:58 if u wanna fly!!!

  • There really ain't no other band like Ozric Tentacles. Pink Floyd is psychedelic rock, Younger Brother is psybient (and lately: psybient with a pop twist), Shpongle is pure Psybient. Ozric Tentacles are the only ones - afaik - who combines instrumental rock, psybient and psychedelic rock in this kind of wonderful combination.

  • @ArtificialLifef0rm infected mushroom is realy good try heavyweight

  • @crazyjugglo Yes I know about them. But IM only have a few songs with electric guitars in them (personal favorite is the "live" version of Suliman) which is a shame really because electric guitars goes really well with Goa/Psytrance.

  • WOWWWWWW

  • Very cool song.... love the synth work...

  • The trippy noises are the best bit ! I always loved the way they make synths sound like they are talking or like another wave of acid bubbling up inside your head... My favourite band by miles

  • This is really good

  • Bueatiful! Thx for posting!

  • I'd forgotten about The Ozrics for the last decade, magic.

  • Have you ever (in your mind) floated in space and moved 300x speed of light and you can stop to glare at the planets and look at all life and fly back to space and you feel immortal... I just like this song... It made me dream of space

  • please someone can recomend me more bands like this one, im new at this genere, i will love your help :D

  • I cannot get enough of those triplets at 3:36!!!!!!!!

  • It's so ridiculous that you can dig deep into musician communities online, and still don't hear of this stunning band. They are pure fuckin' genius and blast every reservations away, which could have against this music. You don't like electronic music or think that guitars always sound the same ? Hell, then you didn't heard the ozrics, yet. You don't like shredding or syntheziser ? Hell, then you didn't heard the ozrics, yet.

  • @HispanicImpression ozrics are awesome, but when my friends hear it, they (and myself, kinda) get annoyed by all the random noises. the beats, synth and guitar are awesome it's usually just the sampling that gets to people. I bet if ozrics released an album without any random trippy noises it would be one of the more known modern albums in prog, new age & psychedelia altogether

  • Easily the best Ozric song...no, just the best song ever

  • the 5 dislikes are aliens that think we are on to them...

  • I spread this band like it's the Gospel. It'd be a dream to even start a tribute band of these guys.

  • ediaiagame check out ship of fools they only put out 2 cd's but will blow you away if you like ozric

  • trippy!!!

  • Everything Ozric makes is gold...fuck

  • heard this band for the first time today... through a friend's $1500 set of speakers... I'm never going to take sound for granted again.

  • The mighty Ozrics!

  • I clicked all the adds so my vibe is a good...if i was minted i would pay a lot of dosh to get Ed,Joie,Merv,Jon in the stuio for one last album...no really. They are/were/will be that good.Ed is beyond awesome.

  • just watch this kwejk.pl/obrazek/49461/szczeniak.html while you listen to this music

  • fantastic underrated group, pioneers!

  • anybody remember the old german spacerockband called "Kraan" ? it sound very much like them...supermusic.

  • way to go guys!!! finally a video where people arent trolling but informing each other about how else to make their lives happy!!! More bands, more music, more knowledge... I like this :D

  • Whatever anyone may want to call it, it's soooo fine, I can drift on that sonic vibe for hours and that is indeed possible, because they have made a massive among of music..........

  • mmmmmmm mmmmmmm mmmmmmm nigga!

  • Very interesting combination of Psybient and Psychedelica (aka Psychedelic rock). Deserves a new genre name imo.... Neo-psychedelica? ^^

  • Im 29 years old and have love this band since treworgey tree fayre in 1989. Thank god for real music that has survived till today.

  • I am 88888 visitor :O nice

    btw. great song :)

  • For those who want similar tracks like this one, you can try some older things like Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa (for those who like more psyhodellic), but albums like Apostrophe ', Joes garrage, and Hot rats for begginers :), And some new like Porcelain, Yes, Younger brother ...

  • @StudioGardibald agreed Younger Brother, never heard of Porcelain will look them up. Also check out my Noetics videos. Also see the Elektrum songs on my profile

  • @OzricSpacefolk Also check out Timonkey and Heyoka!!!

  • @StudioGardibald maudlin of the well

  • @StudioGardibald I have Apostrophe one record, and i'm about as evil as an eskimo boy can be

  • @StudioGardibald

    King Crimson"-eyes wide open"

  • @StudioGardibald

This band ...... I do not have enough words to describe.... fantasitc!!!

  • @StudioGardibald I think Jean Michel Jarre is also a bit like this

  • @Alcminuialwen Don't think he's similar in any way only having in common he uses synthesizers. This is electronic rock with a hook in psychedelic music from the early 70's, specially Hawkwind and Floyd.

Jarre is plain electronic and even pop at times in more recent material. Only problem with OT, to me, is many of their pieces are so much alike. Nevertheless a great trippy and catchy band.

  • @StudioGardibald thank you very much for this list of artists... i discovered by your comment, "Of porcelain" and he's band "The Glitch mod", so i need to come back here and saying thanks!:)

  • @StudioGardibald

    Brand X too ;)

  • @StudioGardibald Oresund Space Collective!

  • Man, now i have discovered another life! No more words!

  • Great band!!!

    It's Bob Marley meets Gong!

  • every day, theyre in my ears....and every day, i am happy

  • Fantastic Music ; )))

  • You can't help but speed when you listen to these guys in the car

  • who the fuck disliked this?

  • we are faced with one of the best band ever. Seriuosly

  • EAT STATIC ANOTHER SEEDLING OF THIS TYPE

  • Great tune this, I love Ozrics but I actually haven't got this album yet!!!!!

    Tony............Auroris

  • but highly recommended :D

  • buy a decent sound system, switch off the lights and recline inside ur head, smoke optional

  • fantastic!!

  • YES!

  • Now that I know who the Ozrics are and what they're about....I can live a happy life....this song is epic. as is the band. namaste.

  • @ihateniggers5 you can live happy with a name like ihateniggers5? seriously can we end racism already, its only the 21st century. fuck your life and the 5 ppl that gave you thumbs up

  • who can dislike this?

  • The reggae-ish part with the incredibly, unbelievably groovy bass line gives me the shivers

  • I first heard this band in 1990,at a party and remember it like it was yesterday! It was a bit of vinyl playing on a Rega Planar record player, hell, I even remember the guy's speakers, tiny wee Kef things, but the sound was HUGE and every body was into it.

Dont know how many times I have seen them live now! Certainly every gig in Glasgow, the last twenty years!

  • Esta mierda si es pega....!!!!

  • I saw the Ozrics live twice in the 90's they were absolutely awesome. I still cannot understand how they can perform such seemingly chaotic music perfectly live every single time. Amazing musicians!

  • ~ 11 November 2010~

    OZRIC TENTACLES

    GAGARIN 205 20-25 eu/tickets

  • Ed, the guitarist has a famous dad, i think

he designed the hands on the 50p piece and a gate for the queen mum, i think,

or was the dude that told me that just another halucination

  • reminds me of driving through surry uk at 4am on any given wknd

  • This is my first time hearing this band and I think this is some good stuff . Only good music can be found by ignoring the radio.

  • OzTXz are the OGest ever!

  • I wonder when Hidria's new album is coming out...

  • who were first? these guys or porcupine tree?

is there a conection bitwin them except the weird resemblence?

  • @omerlavi

    ozric!

  • @omerlavi

Ozrics were first, PT came about in 1991. Ozric Tentacles get their influence from Hawkwind/ Gong, but they are truly on their own, musically!!

  • @geeoh480 I love the ozric tentacles but I dont really care for porcupine tree, hawkwind and gong.

some of pt an hawkwind sounds like ozric tentacles but some isnt enuff, an porcupine tree(I cant see how it relates to tentacles, sure some of their early stuff is space rock but thats NOT enuff either.

Ozric Tentacles is a great band, same with Frank Zappa, an I also like lots of psychedelic trance, goa trance music too and Steve hillage as electronica/rock an also as system 7.

  • @omerlavi one would think so...

who cares, they both kick ass.

this kinda sounds like up the downstair but even trippier

  • please recommend me more songs like this!

  • @bchamorro listen to Space Out and Dissolution by Ozric Tentacles and prepare to be blown away some more

  • @OzricSpacefolk I actually typed in 'prepare to be blown away some more by ozric tentacles' XD

  • @bchamorro porcupine tree , maudlin of the well , pink floyd

  • @bchamorro Porcupine tree, Blackfield.

  • @bchamorro Sound Tribe Sector 9
