Zen-Aku (Merrick) is the closest that I can see as Tommy...started off evil then came to the side of good and the flute is amazing like the dragon dagger.

The design of his crystal flute was almost like an ocarina version of the green rangers dragon dagger flute. I would love to have a working replica of Zen-Aku's flute and learn to play the songs but so far no luck. Does anyone know where I could find one or have it custom made?

holy shit...i just got the damned shivers...zen aku..power ranger's most badass villain to ever exist. first appearance and he almost obliterate the power rangers.

@blearghp Only Tommy can brag that he came that close to beating the power rangers. And by beat i mean fucking destroy and humiliate them. Nothing like Zedd and Rita's cheap ass bomb and Divatox ridiculosly large Pirahnatron army of haxxor. I mean a fair fight of equals, Anyone can win with numbers as Turbo's finale pointed out or cheap tricks like in Alien, but it takes a real man/monster/org to take on the Power rangers and win.

@omegashinobi Yes he did. He also got destroyed several times before that point of 100 zords just that damn heart kept bringing him back. Without the heart he'd have died with out major casualties on the rangers side. And besides it was already stated that the Green Dragon powers are the most powerful ranger powers ever. And Zen Aku killed the original master org 3,000 years ago. So obviously those two could have taken Master Org by themselves.

@genemaxwell4 uugh you do realize that master org destroyed not only animus, but the predeter megazord, the very same megazord that killed him. so i'm pretty sure he was stronger than he was 3000 yrs ago. also i'm sure that the green dagger was only the strongest Dino ranger. it was stated quite a few times that the white ranger powers were stronger. and those powers were weaker than the zeo, turbo, Space, LG, TF and possibly wildforce. idk for sure maybe the power deoended on the person.

@omegashinobi The white powers were stronger than the Green ones at the time. Which makes sense since most of his powers were drained away. IT was restated in the episode of Dino Thunder where tommy is comatose how strong the Green Ranger is "You should know better than anyone how powerful I am Tommy" Exact quote. Plus other sources IE Saban and the Japanese counter part of Sentai talk about the Green Ranger's power. He was the strongest ever. The Green Ranger could have killed master org alone

@genemaxwell4 i still dought dragon ranger is the strongest considering how he got his ass kicked by gokai blue in gokaiger, and i think the only reason why green was kicking tommy's ass was because 1. tommy had to fight the other 2 rangers 2. because it was in his mind and he absolutely hated the green ranger powers since they represent his failures as a ranger, so it was probably stronger than it would be in real life.

@omegashinobi The Green ranger even when his powers were drained in MMPR was able to solo several of Zeds monsters a feat that no other ranger can do. At full strength he was unstoppable. Saban said that the Green Ranger is the strongest ever. Also when the Dark Wizard ressurected the Dragon Powers in season 2 of MMPR the Green Tommy was able to best White Tommy. The Dragon Zord took out the Tiger Zord and nearly took out the Thunderzord.

@genemaxwell4 from what i saw teh dragonzord was overloaded with evil energy as well as his dragoncoin power, making it atleast 3x stronger than it use to be, plus i'm pretty sure the fight between teh 2 rangers was a tie, plus tommy's powers were being drained with there being a clone of him draining away at some of his own life force. not to mention the wizard was giving him cheap shots dirung the fight

@omegashinobi It was not overloaded with evil energy it was manipulated by evil so there was no power boost there. That was original power. And though Tommy was weakend by the double tommy's it can be assumed the clone was in the same situation since only one can exist. And as for the wizard he was barely involved in the fight.
