i went to that game and i must say that im glad cal poly gave us a good game, i went expected a blowout, but instead an exiting game, i would rather see an exiting game no matter how big of a blowout its supposed to be, it was just more fun
Cal Poly deserved to win this one.. that crazy bounce/catch in the endzone, a few bad calls (the touchback) and a few missed pass interference calls would have given Poly the win. (not to mention the PATs everybody talks about).
also, does anyone have buttercup from the halftime show? I'd like to see it since it seems the sound guy has given up on it for whatever reason. (I thought is was just as big a part for Wisconsin as Jump Around personally)
that was a good game, i was there and im glad it wasnt one of those games where one team is way in the lead the whole game (like the iowa minnesota game last night) so there was always action and excitement
thye game was nearly impossible to follow in person. All the misdirection Cal Poly used made me follow the wrong guy about 80% of the time, that probably explains how our defense had trouble stopping the run. (also, time of possession: 40:00 to 20:00? I'm impressed our offense was able to score 29 points with that small amount of time)
'twas a great football game. For all the crud people were saying about it beforehand, turned out pretty awesome.
I was impressed by the coverage on Barden(11) too.. the guy covering him looked about 6 inches or more shorter, but did a great job. You'll be watching Barden on Sundays pretty soon.
I gotta give Cal Poly credit though. They are an explosive team. But sometimes special teams can make a difference. I knew that the Badgers wouldn't get upset by a by a FCS(football championship Subdivision) team. You a badger fan as well? I guess that probably is a stupid question.
Yes, big badger fan, Cal Poly had an explosive rushing attack, though their formation was odd. Also, they liked throwing the ball to that tall #11 receiver, he was good but the Badgers played great defense against him.
yes. They had the triple option spread offense. That is difficult for any team to defend. They were ranked #3 just below Appalachian State in their division, so I knew they were give everything they had against the Badgers.

They DID deserve to win it, but they didn't. What counts is the final score. The kicker lost the game for Cal Poly. You by chance a Cal Poly fan?
heavymetalrulz123 3 years ago
I would say he probably is, seeing as how Edna Valley is right next to SLO.
