Sonny Terry taught me the first song he ever learned, from his grandfather, pretty simple half chords half single note refrains...and all falsetto (which is why, he said, he liked Canned Heat's stuff - about 1968) He could see a bit, enough to walk around. I played drums with them now and then, and hung out with Brownie, who lived in Oakland, as well as Arthur Crudup, and made 2 songs with my mentor Howlin' Wolf (not released yet but maybe this year... beyond amazing harp when doing all melody
