As far as I know they a re still together. The last album was released only a year or two ago. If you like this I'd think you'd the rest of their catalogue. Though they've had 2 singers and a few different drummers and guitarists in their time (I think it's really the bassists band), I think each album is just awesome. Go through UTube to find more vids and google cdjapan to find an online store in Japan if you want to be old fashioned and pay for music;-)
No way, Akira's one of the greatest guitarists in the world!! Anthem nowadays are making better music then loudness, who are Nu-metal these days. Anthem have stayed true to their roots and are still making real metal. so I say, Anthem and Loudness both kick ass!!!

Loudness and Anthem were blessed with two of the best lead guitarists I have ever heard! Loudness dominated the 80's and early 90's, but Anthem has dusted them since! "Metal Mad" from Loudness gives us hope for a rebirth though!

Yukio had more balls than Eizo, though they sound very much alike. Besides the albums from Yukio's time are IMO the best albums Anthem has made. Well, it's just my opinion.

Precisely what I think. That's why I've always felt that Eizo was the right guy for Anthem. But Eizo can sing really emotional when he wants too. Have you ever heard Mr. Lonely, from his solo work? It's a beautiful ballad, in which Eizo both sings and plays guitar.

Anthem IMO. They overall have more consistency, while Loudness released a lot of suck after their prime. Also Akira Takasaki is way overrated IMO.

Yukio is a bit more versatile than Eizo and his singing is more emotional while Eizos is more raw and aggressive.
