so liquid snake being in control of ocelot was just ocelot pretending??? liquid actually died on shadow moses?? so why exactly was snake put between the patriots and big boss and his crew????
What that guy said is bullshit, so why is ocelot raising an army if he (and the patriots) already have the US army AND the SOP system? this doesn't make sense, it IS liquid controlling Ocelot, there's no doubt, if im wrong, only the game can tell
This spoiler I was told I'm not 100% sure is totally accurate. All I know is Ocelot either is controlling it or knew what would happen or something. Bottom line, he is still mostly Ocelot in there.
im sure ocelot purposely allowed liquid to take complete control over his body..so that he can help big boss, but pretending??? not sure about that! in the game though...it later starts to lead you to believe that ocelot is still in there some where....but i guess we have to wait and see
raiden gets a new body that looks different from the ones in the trailer and they kinda leave it open that raiden will be in the next one. wait til u see what raiden looks like though!! but yea snake lives adn they arent real clear on if he will not be in the next one. you hear ocelots voice after the credits roll, and the end cut scene is like half an hour long, literally. i have pics that were scanned to me if anybody wants to see the stills. lemme know!!

Well if they could bring Gray Fox who was pretty much blow up up in that minefield I think with gene therapy. But what I've been thinking is what if theres a fourth clone they said only three out of eight survived at first we thought it was two but solidus popped up later why cant their be a fourth. My theory is that this fourth might possess the actual conscious and mind of big boss but lets wait to for it to come to answer all the questions and expectations
i think rex vs ray was a dream or somethin. 1. kojima wouldnt reveal a spoiler like that in a trailer. 2. if real, rex would have been destroyed or rebuilt after MGS1, the government wouldn't have just left it in its broken state for all that time.
Keep in mind that in between MGS and MGS2 Ocelot sold plans for REX to anyone who could and would pay for them. So this might not be THE REX from MGS, but A REX that was built from the sold plans. The answer to why the RADOME is damaged is due to it being the primary, and well known, weak spot of it, so it's obviously the first thing any sensible person would aim for.
I mean that REX could just be one kept in storage and was procured in-field by Snake, but was damaged prior to the scene.
Will players actually be able to control a Metal Gear in this game finally, or will they still be reserved for the cinemas where others get to control them?
That's not right. In the GOOD end, Meryl is saved by Snake and Otacon stays in the base. Campbell stops the attack and Otacon survives (not shown, but Snakes ask him to ^^)

ok the new trailer from TGS 2007 clearly says that MGS4 is the last chapter in the Metal Gear Saga sense Hideo Kojima is going to stop working with the MG the only MG that Kojima Production will be working on is MGO2(Metal Gear Online 2)for the PS3.

I love metal gear, absolutely love it! The only little flaw I had with the story was how liquid was somehow inside of ocelot through a arm. They should of killed off liquid and had ocelot as the main villain. Ocelot is Kickass!
yeah they use the theory of cells having genetic memory and being passed on to it's new host. It's not all that unrealistic. In liver transplants, often the new host can sometimes report to have strange new desires for certain foods and liquids it didn't have before.
Ocelot is the son of the sorrow from MGS3 he got some of The Sorrow's power and when the arm got attached since Ocelot didn't have any training or knowledge that he had that power Liquid's stronger mind took him over

That's not Johnny Sasaki, why would they name the guy with the mohawk "Johnathan" if the guy with sunglasses is Johnny Sasaki, that makes no sense. Johnny would be a 14 year vet during this game's part in the timeline and he can be seen in this trailer at the end shitting in an oil drum.
That wasn't the real Big Boss moron, it was the third clone Solidus.
Liquid,Solid and Solidus snake three clones of the origional Naked Snake. When you fight The Joy in MGS3 you can catch three snakes in the area who are each called Liquid,Solid and Solidus.
I don't think we have found out what happened to Naked Snake yet, but it would be cool for him to come back in this one

Let's face it: we've never explicitly seen Big Boss's remains, so we can't truly be sure that he's dead. Who knows? He could make a return appearance as a big twist near the game's halfway point.

If you want my prediction, that young Snake-looking character from an earlier trailer will turn out to be a new, post-Les Enfants Terribles clone of Big Boss, with all his memory restored and whatnot, effectively making him Big Boss reborn, and he'll appear in a plot twist and kick Liquid's ass and he'll make a remark about being younger than his sons and go on a tirade about immortality before you have a showdown with him.

Cyberlink420, stop beeing so ignorant! If you watch the first 'Metal Gear' (MSX) until the end, you can read Big Boss' "ending speech" before the end. And Big Boss wasn't actually killed in 'Metal Gear'. It just happens that, whenever you defeat a Boss, they disappear completely out of the screen. In 'Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake', the Bosses' defeats are represented by "burning flames". Don't let appearences fool you.
If you're thinking they'll bring back Big Boss, don't count on it too much, because his remains have been preserved by the military and they even took one of the strings from his hair, in order to restore his genetic information.
Tell me, have these preserved remains ever been physically SEEN by anyone outside of the government? What if, perhaps, Big Boss was still alive? That would be a VERY good reason why they couldn't hand over his remains during MGS1.
All I'm saying is that you have to admit, the possibility is there. Not to mention that it'd make one hell of a plot twist...

the young snake in the trailer was just an earlier version a test it doesnt mean anything becouse that was made in 2006 i bet then they wernt even considering making him old thats why, its nothing to do with another clone that was just an early trailer

I really like this game the first 3 rocked but I did not like that they were backwards with the 1st game being the third game and snaker eater that was the 3rd should have been the 1st one. I found that out after playing all 3 games. So it makes me wonder if the 4th game is after the second one or is the 4th chapter.

I love metal gear, absolutely love it! The only little flaw I had with the story was how liquid was somehow inside of ocelot through a arm. They should of killed off liquid and had ocelot as the main villain. Ocelot is Kickass!

yeah they use the theory of cells having genetic memory and being passed on to it's new host. It's not all that unrealistic. In liver transplants, often the new host can sometimes report to have strange new desires for certain foods and liquids it didn't have before.

Ocelot is the son of the sorrow from MGS3 he got some of The Sorrow's power and when the arm got attached since Ocelot didn't have any training or knowledge that he had that power Liquid's stronger mind took him over

That's not Johnny Sasaki, why would they name the guy with the mohawk "Johnathan" if the guy with sunglasses is Johnny Sasaki, that makes no sense. Johnny would be a 14 year vet during this game's part in the timeline and he can be seen in this trailer at the end shitting in an oil drum.

That wasn't the real Big Boss moron, it was the third clone Solidus.
Liquid,Solid and Solidus snake three clones of the origional Naked Snake. When you fight The Joy in MGS3 you can catch three snakes in the area who are each called Liquid,Solid and Solidus.
I don't think we have found out what happened to Naked Snake yet, but it would be cool for him to come back in this one

Let's face it: we've never explicitly seen Big Boss's remains, so we can't truly be sure that he's dead. Who knows? He could make a return appearance as a big twist near the game's halfway point.
On that note, is that Shadow Moses where REX and RAY are battling? If so, ****ING AWESOME!!!

If you want my prediction, that young Snake-looking character from an earlier trailer will turn out to be a new, post-Les Enfants Terribles clone of Big Boss, with all his memory restored and whatnot, effectively making him Big Boss reborn, and he'll appear in a plot twist and kick Liquid's ass and he'll make a remark about being younger than his sons and go on a tirade about immortality before you have a showdown with him.
That's my best guess.

Cyberlink420, stop beeing so ignorant! If you watch the first 'Metal Gear' (MSX) until the end, you can read Big Boss' "ending speech" before the end. And Big Boss wasn't actually killed in 'Metal Gear'. It just happens that, whenever you defeat a Boss, they disappear completely out of the screen. In 'Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake', the Bosses' defeats are represented by "burning flames". Don't let appearences fool you.

Big Boss managed to fake his death once. Liquid actually died, and yet here he is living on through Ocelot.

If you're thinking they'll bring back Big Boss, don't count on it too much, because his remains have been preserved by the military and they even took one of the strings from his hair, in order to restore his genetic information.

Tell me, have these preserved remains ever been physically SEEN by anyone outside of the government? What if, perhaps, Big Boss was still alive? That would be a VERY good reason why they couldn't hand over his remains during MGS1.

That's the thing, though. I doubt Hideo planned to revive Gray Fox after he as "killed" in MG2, but look how that ended up.
Death is never what it seems in the Metal Gear universe...it may or may not happen, but it's always fun to speculate.

I really like this game the first 3 rocked but I did not like that they were backwards with the 1st game being the third game and snaker eater that was the 3rd should have been the 1st one. I found that out after playing all 3 games. So it makes me wonder if the 4th game is after the second one or is the 4th chapter.
