@yogd4life who said that the NBA is the only professional league? Ever heard of the euro league? HAHA I don't even think you played in your school team....
@Bigmawcus YES BABY I SAW TOO VÍDEOS WITH NASH IN COLLEGE WITH HIS FRIEND AND ETC...BUT HE CAN´T DUNK WHEN YOU HAVE 19 YEARS OLD YOU CAN JUMP HIGHER AND NASH NEVER TRAINING THAT, HE TRAINING HIS IQ.
@zzzzzzzzzz098 They don't bite on the jab; they bite on the ball, he says keep yourself between the defender and the ball because a good defender will wait for you to put ball in front of their face to pop it out, especially if you're playing the 1.
@tomcatfdynasty I agree with the biting on the ball thing, that's why I still believe the Killer Crossover is a better technique. I just didn't know what you meant before because not biting at all = bad defender.
One of the fundamental moves I teach..extremely effective!! Simulataneous motion of ball in one direction & jab in other direction confuses defender (always bites on the jab..a neural glitch). Called "Carson Cross" on Holowicki's Inner City Moves video. We call it 'Texas 2-Step' in DFW. Great counter is the pound spin move to change direction again. Great video, Ryan!!
honestly, this doesn't seem logical.. I'll have to try it out but won't the defender follow the direction in which the ball is going and not the jab? thinking iverson and rose have worked great thus far...
Ryan, you have amazing skills, but it's even more amazing that you still resemble a teenage boy even though you stated you went to college already!! :P
not a fan of this technique..maybe a quick studder step before the jab fake would increase the chance of the defender to give you that foot of space that your looking for..say that your sprinting down court in a 3 on 2; 2 on 1 scenario and I'm charging down dribbling with my right, what I've found pretty affective is that by the time I get to about the 3 line I'd studder, jab right HARD, wait for his reaction then cross, and finish either lay-up or pop the 15 footer..
@snessespe keep it slow on the cross then jab hard with the opposite foot. Feel the defender out and make your move. Watch the Bone Collector or Hot Sauce, They have a great variation of this move go between the legs at full speed
@sandeehoward Whenever I teach this move at clinics I always do it "LIVE" against a defender. Hasn't been stopped yet. You can use it when you're closely guarded if you can create one arms length of space before making the move.
@sandeehoward I use it and It will put you in a body bag. Listen man add this to your game at the stand still. Once you feel him out then you can do there main types of moves. You can continue to the basket, you can step back into a shot, or if he leaning you can cross him out of the gym. When I 1st did it I was 18 now I'm 31. It has worked for years. Trust me at a standstill it is deadly. If you want I will ost a short clip of me doing it. If you get this in you game "Zip EM UP BODY BAG"
Respond to this video... keep it slow on the cross then jab hard with the opposite foot. Feel the defender out and make your move. This move really only works on sloppy defenders... when you play people who know how to play defense they never bite on the jab...
